I’ve been looking for wedding shoes for the barat day with no success. I love Jimmy Choos but I can’t afford those and I don’t want to wear a knockoff version. Anyone have any recommendations for a decent shoe store in Lahore? I could get something from here but Pakistani heels are made for shalwar kameez and it’ll be different looking. BUT the shoes from there are so uncomfortable. Any ideas?
i m a june 2015 bride i ws planing to buy my shoes from marrie claire since i hav bought their shoes and they are comfortable to walk in.i had couple of fancy shoes from stylo some form dubai and i cdnt wear those cz i ws afraid they wd slip on my engagment day and had to wear a non fancy marrie clair show
Yes! Check Nordstrom and all those department stores. I have freakishly large feet so I couldn’t find my size at a lot of places but there were INSANE deals going on (got my Choos at 70% off :halo:)! Like some store named Lord and Taylor had the steve madden’s for 80% off (not in my size though ugh). I’m hoping they fit (really nervous) but I think these are the ones!
^ how tall are you and how tall is your hubby to be? those heels are soooo pretty (esp the mehndi ones!)
I'm 5ft 6inch and fiance is 6ft 1inch! I was a little concerned about the height since they're HIGH but I think it should work!
Thanks! Girl, you have no idea the pain I went through for those mehndi shoes. both shoes, I bought the last ones they had in my size. Turns out, they're not making them anymore and they didn't have ANY in the size I wear...besides 1 store across the country.
Good choice soconfused! Loving them both! I had two pairs of choos at my wedding time for registry wedding/valima and my mehndi ones were some simple gold heels lol worth every penny though! Im 5'7 and my hubby is 6'2 and i had the 4 inch choos but thankfully i didnt tower over him (although walking in them was a different story not a heels person! Lol)
Well that is the same height for me and my hubby too. I didn't buy overly high heels: 1" for mehndi & 2.5" for wedding. They were Jimmy Choo. Remember you will have to wear, stand, walk, maybe dance in your shoes for a long time during / before / after wedding festivities. So do buy something that is comfy (& stylish of course). IMO it is worth to spend extra on shoes because even with teh most comfortable shoe you will wear, your feet will get very sore.

Yeah, i was going to buy shoes from pakistan like I said in the original post but I was hearing that that wasn't a smart idea because they're so uncomfortable (I can relate since I had worn Pakistani heels for my engagement and my feet were sore for a few days after) AND I found killer sales for these so got them. I'm going to have to practice walking in them because I have long legs so I start walking weird with too high heels.

I was going to go for a shorter heel but my mehndi suit will look good with a higher one so went with that. Plus, I mostly plan on sitting around (no dancing at my wedding for me) so hopefully it'll work!
I went a 1/2 size up with the choos and my true size with the steve maddens so I REALLY REALLY hope they fit.
