That Nomi ansari dress is horrendous, definetly too much going on!! I much prefer her valima outfit, especially the light subtle kameez combined with a daring lengha skirt. Very unique!
I just threw up a little, kheer made out of milk which has been eeewwww I'm never having kheer from a shadi ka ghar, (not that ive ever had it) but in the future! This definitely make me lactose intolerant! Anyhow even the rice, like what the hell! Who made these stupid traditions, and actually put a meaning behind it. No offense its just stupid!
I'm quite offended that you call centuries old traditions "stupid". I suppose if you grow up in those countries you grow up with RESPECT for their traditions, there is always some form of wisdom behind them.
If you think about it, any bacteria from the brides feet will be killed during the cooking process, its quite safe to eat really, think of it as a kheer cheesecake.
