Its milk, and it collects in the silver tray underneath. That milk is then used to make kheer which is eaten at the breakfast the next day, symbolic of the sweetness and wealth that the new bride will bring to the family.

It seems like almost every photographer is using the same background for every bridal photoshoot. I’ve seen photosessions of countless girls, not everyone went to the same photographer, and their poses and backgrounds are so much identical that it’s boring and NOT fun.

I just threw up a little, kheer made out of milk which has been eeewwww I'm never having kheer from a shadi ka ghar, (not that ive ever had it) but in the future! This definitely make me lactose intolerant! Anyhow even the rice, like what the hell! Who made these stupid traditions, and actually put a meaning behind it. No offense its just stupid!
