I loved their wedding pics - they both look so happy marshallah - the venues as I said before are beautiful too. I wish them well.
I don't think I am going crazy over them - its just they had a big grand wedding and its different strokes for different folks as the saying goes.

Mash'Allah....that must of been an AMAZING wedding! I wonder where she got her wedding day make-up from, lol, thats one of the first things I look at. And her make-up was so natural, and still so beautiful!
But i liked Kiran's HSY wedding dress better, maybe because i just adore Hassan's work, its stunning!

they are charging $194 per person. not that pricy but oh well it kinda is 
what! 200 guests is $40,000!

$194 a head with bar or without? cos even with bar its still pretty expensive... in toronto its usually around $125 a head with premium open bar and i know this cos an italian friend of mine is getting married and we were discussing her costs. she has about 200 guests coming and its costing her $50,000 (with food and decor and all that included)! but italians are so generous too with their monetary gifts, unlike most desi people- i'm sure she'll break even at the very least. at her shower, not only did she get every single thing off her very pricey registry, she also got enough cash to pay for their honeymoon!!! (a week in antigua at a five-star resort)

they arent celebrities, the girls dad is in the banking industry in ny. the dress was from nilofer shahid and karma and uve got the venues.

Gotham hall charges a 35k rental fee if you're doing catering from outside. Add to that the beverage costs, waitstaff, and a few other charges.

yeah but not enough to make $125 CAD into $194 US... i mean if without bar it was $194/person, with would make it over $200... but then again, it is a far more opulent venue than the one my friend is getting married in.
