^ I bought a dress for my aunts weddin from maria.b...i loved it, it looked loose and going everywhere when i saw it on the rack - it just had great embroidery and and colors but when i wore it the fitting was as if it was especially made for me :)
the fabric and kaam actually depends there are some designer kapray which are also very chuban chubai some have such heavy work yet it doesnt chubo-fy at all. I got these four designer dresses from Pakistan one chubos three dont, oh but the chuban is not like so much irritation but i can feel where the some of the kaam is thats it - all others have a lining sort underneath.
personally i think that designer bridal wear feels much different than the ones sewn up by a darzi but also, if you have an amazing darzi that sews really well u can do a goodj ob
Designer outfits feel NO different from regular "darzi" wear..I've been modeling for 4 years, Maria B, hajra hayat..sobia nazir..faisal karighar, zara shajahan, bunto kazmi, sahar arif, cynosure...and they feel NO different from my tailor in Karachi =)
Designers themselves pick-up motif's from here n there..and they have the same "adda-wala's" doing their kaam for them.

Interesting...hows your experience as a model in a conservative country like pakistan? And thise whole body flesh emerging kind of advertising? like how does your family react on all this?
LOL do u get those outfits u wear for free as a part of your salery for modelling ? lol i have always been curious to know this lol....anyway
this is the most gorgeous thread wala kaam bridal outfit …that i would want my sister whenever she gets married to wear this inshallah its different and appeals very fresh and light i wonder who has designer her outfit
Oh ur so sweet, trust me i am so NOT into designer clothing and i dont buy any in the first place - be it east or west! It was only my hubby’s choice leken it wasnt chubta chubta at all cuz of the netting or the kaam. But i have worn clothes as a child which i couldnt stand…aaahhhh the torture our mums put us through…
Hahah…thats true, i wanna know too - why dont you post pics of your modelling?
^ I think she carries off that shade of pink really well, and not many people can do that. I love the shirt part, the lengha is has too many colors going, i see red, magenta, champagne, and seagreen embriodery is nice though.
It’s definitely Sana Safinaz, yet for the life of me, i’m not sure if it’s an original or not. The version i’ve seen has a completely different blouse and the kaam stands out more, however it still looks very nice on the bride.
For some reason i feel that nowadayz, simple lookz nice nd makes the bride stand out more but still though it goez acording to wat suitz the bride, heavy or simple
^ I luv those frilly beils at the edge of the dupattas... my Mum had it on her shaadi ke suit ka dupatta, however; hers were a tad bit longer. It gives it such an innocent & appealing look... looks like fashion is repeating itself, again! :)
