actually i HATE red nails..i would rather have some decent nailart(not rang barangi) on my wedding...
or maybe just french...but not paindu red nails..never ever!

My preferences are the classic french maniure or some nude/sheer color, or red for the wedding day.

Nail polish

Needed some advice on nail polish for the wedding day, what would u girls pick out of the following:

-White tips

-A neutral beige colour

-matching to ur outfit

  • or other?

Would u choose acrylic or ur natural nails?

i think i would take a frenchie...or maybe a natural colour...but NOT red!

Acrylics (but only b/c i bite y nails and they're short...else I'd LOVE to have nails that will look nice naturally). French tips or beige.

Matching to the outfit is too high maintenance (changing it in between functions etc) and looks tacky next to all the mehndi and jewelery (unles of course u go very light and minimal onall of it)

white tips are all the rage at the moment. last 10-12 brides ive seen have had tips.

^urgh. I must be the only one who hates nails like this. I think they look really tacky, especially on a bride.

my vote is for natural nails, colour depending on outfit (but not match-y match-y) so prob something neutral, or a simple french manicure.

you can do matching nails if you want- just get a manicure the day before the mehendi, and get a quick polish change for the other days.
i had red nails for the mehendi and then switched it to a french manicure for the wedding. its a lovely, clean look, but i find it works best on shortish nails, as do darker colours (look at my profile pic to the left of this post haha, its from my wedding)

if you have longer nails, how about a nice metallic? there are some awesome golds and silvers that look really classy, or even a pale pink metallic would work.
