I'm just curious, what brand of makeup do most of these higher-end Pakistan salons use ? Last I was there, Depilex did use Mac....not sure abt other places..

i think allenora is the best.. i got my baraat makeup done from there and she charged me 25,000…in this package annie told wht colour for base to put on me and wht kind of hair style and annie and another makeup artist did my makeup.
on the valima i got ready for allenora also but this time i got ready by her assistant ( the one who was helping her in doing my baraat makeup) and she did an awesome job… her name is qudsia…and for valima she charged me 10,000 since i got the signture line. if u want annie to do the complete look from her… the base, hair and makeup now she charges 50,000

Is this price for real? This is really ridiculous. I’m doing my own make up.

i dont know abt the rates..but it must be like others..evry god salon charges b/w 12-16000rs on average..and you can always tell them if you want a traditional or modern make up..

neelam: i booked the signature-line package for myself in which annie does the finishing touches by herself and i paid 4000rs extra for it.normal package was for 12000rs and i paid 16K..annie did the instructions throughout my make over and did the finishing touches.. she charges 30000rs if you want her to do the whole makep by herself ! whitening facial (what different beauticians told me) works good if you take atleast 3-4 sittings in 3 months and it is to be taken 6-8 days before the actual day..i took them too but honestly speaking,i dont have a bad complexion and moreover,for the shadi,we are already taking good care with regular cleansing,scrubbing,masks,(and washing regularly in my case:) cuz i am very lazy ) etc that skin khudi itni achi ho jati hai..simple facials are good to be taken.. i took them from housewife home(shadman) and Muniba's and i liked the first one better. they charge separately for waxing at allenora. it is not included in the package. i wud suggest to call a waxing wali at home and get ubtan massage done too before your wedding. my waxing wali did it for me.

^ yea aliya tipu is oner of allenora but in lahore annie wrks for allenora i think becoz my younger bhabi gt her make up done by allenora for barat n she toldme tht annie was one of the head there in allenora ...main allenora is in karachi n its branch is located in lahore ...

Actually, there are two separate Allenora's fighting it out right now in Pakistan. The original one is owned by Annie in Lahore. She recently opened a branch in Karachi. The second one is Aliya's in Karachi. Aliya's Allenora has been in Karachi for about seven years, but Allenora in Lahore has been around for a decade. Aliya and Annie are duking it out to lay claim to the name in Karachi and they're actually in court fighting it out. Annie is the more famous of the two (she also does a lot of celebrity makeup), and she's been around longer.
