SABS in Karachi is really excellent...their party make up though cost around 6000 rps when I was there 2 months ago. This included the makeup, hair setting and duppata setting and it seemed flawless to me, but just a little expensive. I'm not sure about their bridal package though...
Deeves are photographers and in Lahore, Ather Shahzad are also in Lahore =)

Click on this link and go to ‘SABS the salon’ section; they have pictures of the kind of work they do here. The thing is that they are pictures of models I believe, but it will give you an idea.
It has listings on the same website of other parlours in Karachi that you can try - the Allenora branch you want in the listing is the one based in Zamzama and not clifton.
getting married in Aug 2008, went all around salons today to book the salon for the wedding, god it was hot! anyway, Asad Baig's and Cistre's portfolio's suck. Asad Baig is charging I think 20k for the make up, Cistre's is charging 18k with services.
Also went to Sabs and Akif Ilyas. Saba from Sabs is charging 20k with services and Akif is charging 25k only for the makeup. Everyone that I went with liked Akif's portfolio but loved Sabs. So I'm going with sabs at sabs for party makeup on the day of the mehndi and bridal on the day of the wedding!

i just went looking at salons in khi today for my own bridal makeup. I saw Asad Baig's and Cistre's portfolios and they were pathetic to say the least.
Sabs was excellent, they are charging 20k with services if you get it done from Saba and 15k if u get it done by someone else like sonya or tayyaba. they are charging 5000 for all the party makeup of people in my family i guess cuz we are all getting everything done from there, otherwise her regular party makeup charge is 6000.
And tell me about Zara's is it good? and where is it located?
Zara's is very good ,sister of my friend got her makeup by Nighat at Zara's n she was looking really really pretty,
Zara's is located at Bahadurabad.
Rose and Mahrose are known for their tacky/unblended makeup! I like Laiqa Hassan, Angie Marshall, and Sab's!

If ur going to get married in Karachi....I highly suggest u go to SABS...I recently got married. I got my make-up done from SABS, their bridal package cost 18000 rupees. I just got married in dec so I’m sure they haven't changed their prices dat quick, and u may want to bargain a lil...I'm not bragging but I looked really pretty on my baraat...every1 just lovedddddddd my make-up...I don't want to post my wedding picture here...if u want I can e-mail 1 of my wedding pix to u :)
