aww thanks ayesha! your SO sweet. you know i nevvvvvvvvvvvvver thought of red or wanted it. in fact i thought "i really dont want red!" and then the desisgner suggested it for me in contrast with some other colors and it worked out. but i know what you mean, so many people do red that its like oh man another redo ne?!

yeah so true, but the pther colour with your sets it off beautifully. When did you get married if you dpont mind me asking, your so lucky you dont have to worry about it anymore
speaking of this post specifically, like i said, being polite when expressing yourself is very much appreciated on GS; insulting someone is not. the rule of thumb is, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. i want this to be a fun, happy, positive place and getting personal with comments is not going to make that happen. so please, lets all behave ourselves and remember there's no need to be catty.

You remind me of this aunti we stopped inviting to our house because she had no control over her mouth or what she said. She said the wierdest things too. It was just too much damage control after she left so we stopped having her over with a large group of people.

these drops are so big in pak at the moment, the majority of sets had them when i was shopping, and I got them on my bridal set too!

its all vintage style! for my bhabhi to be, i wanted to go check out some books on vintage jewellery from the library and see if we could modify/recreate a set for her to match her shaadi outfit.
It’s crazy but i’m in love with this necklace too!!! Have you seen the emarald and diamond necklace by Saadia Mirza? it’s from the same range but much heavier…

Ziggy, doesn't come as a surprise! Saw the emerald one, but I have a jade and uncut diamond set my mother got me from Bhopal.. so it's rubies that I'm looking for drools

For us it's the opposite...we have a set with rubies for my bhaabi, but now we're looking for a set with emeralds lol!
LOL! Ami got me a vintage amethyst one as well.. I refused anything to do with plain gold or too many beads. I don't like heavy jewellery either :S
