don't know if anybody else does this, but i order my heels a half-size larger than i normally wear. It helps to make them more comfortable to walk around in.

Wedding shoes have to be comfortable and most of the heels aren't..be sure and spray hairspray inside the shoe to avoid slipping (secret I learnt from modeling longtime ago)
Pinks don't pay attention to anyone's remarks, do what YOU feel like doings its YOUR day =) I'm 5"9 and I still wear heels..

saris, lenghas, etc all look better with heels.... main flat (at max 1 inck heels) pehen ke thuk chuki houn :(

i'm 5'7" too and don't hesitate to wear 2-3 inch heels whenever i want. we all need to learn to be happy with the cards we've been dealt and WORK IT :)

I tell my aunts to get me whatever i want from V.S. since its not here in Canada but then again La Ve En Rose is good too i bought so many night gowns from there...
I got mine from Karachi...there are so many outlets where they have either copies of designer shoes i.e. armani..(but the prices are close to the originals) and there are also outlets of designers there who export or should i say design for bahir kay designers..

I tell my aunt haat per measure kar kay hehehe...plus some are flukes as well..i got guess shoes from U.S. as well which were available here..and they fit perfectly...
One is in defence...i dont remember the street names and all..but yeah there is one in tariq road it has good designs but its not a designer one, there are two in zamzama and one in clifton and one straight ahead from abdullah shah ghazi's mazaar...in khayabane badr i guess.
Plus i just entered a random designer shop in zamzama which was quite big - the shoes there were awesome but in little quantity..and very expensive.

If i knew i would have but i was busy buying the stuff that i never noticed the names and threw away all the bags as well - i had never seen those stores when i lived in Pakistan there was only EBH, Bubble Gummers, Bata, Service but this was the first time i went crazy for shoes in Pakistan...
haan haath say measure...oh forget it its complicated to tell...

lol..i started collecting shoes for my jahez from here but my mum was like kajus baad mein aur bhi fashion aayeh gay yeh jootay pehan kar pooray karo.
i will hopefully put the pictures up (i hope) why do i have the feeling i always say i will put pictures up and end up forgetting lol..see the masla is i am too three lazy and on top of that i have uni as well :( oh and as it is i am always here even when i am in class :s

Actually shoes from pak are not bad. It really depends where you buy them from.
Same is the case here in states.

shoes in pak r goood.. there r a few good shops in tariq road.. plus there is a shop in zamzama (a very big one) where they have made sections for all colors.. like black, red, pink, purple etc.. makes it easy to match the color .. u dont have to search all around the shop.. sorry but i dont remember the name.. it was expensive though.. but worth it.. if u'r interested i can ask the names from my cousin.. she knows alot of shops in karachi where u can buy really good shoes for ur wedding as well as formal/casual wear.
