Re: Bridal dupatta setting for this wedding season (09)
Also I think it really depends if most of the kaam is on your shirt or your duppatta, with the "U-Shape," it looks good if you're showing off the kaam on the duppatta and when there's not much on there, versus the wrapped on the wrist where more of your shirt if showing.
Re: Bridal dupatta setting for this wedding season (09)
There really aren’t many different ways of dupatta setting. So, if you really like both looks, then do one for the Baraat and and the other for Valima. Browse the http://www.paklinks.com/gs/wedding/252929-bridal-pics.html thread for loads of pics.
Re: Bridal dupatta setting for this wedding season (09)
thanks everyone for the helpful feedback
I have a heavy dupatta and very light shirt on the wedding and a heavy shirt and light dupatta on the valima, so I think I can opt for both styles

I'll definitely share my experience :)
I request you guys to remember me in your prayers that the wedding goes smoothly and I look good! and that all is well afterwards too Ameen
Some teasing so you can have places to properly stick in the hair pins with the dupatta. Also many brides give support to their dupattas by pinning it a little on their shoulders or back making sure the pins are inside out.
