yeahhhhhh i love the pale peach and pale green......if you use those as your major colors...you can use the magenta (not pink) to perk it up!!! it would look gorgeous....
she can wear a emerald/pearl/ruby (or garnet) set with it....!!! WOW!!
Sahar02 - The soft and bright colours was something that Bunto was adament about. She claimed for some reason that not enough people tried combining soft and bright colours together, but it seemed her preference to be honest...
Yeah I like them together too. I was saying that if you're going to do one top and bottom, it will give two very different looks. As for altering the color combo, the only thing I would change with these colors is aqua or ferozi rather than green.
that, frankly, sound lush!! and its very fresh- i dont think ive seen a peach/green combo but i would change the green… make it more of an emerald.
also ziggy, remember that the swatches you have in your hand are the not the same that she used for the outfit in the pic - are they?
so even though the outfit might look dull to you, with the colors she’s picked out and the peach being so vibrant, i think the outfit would look different.

the swatches are very different from the pic, however because she suggested the peach net fabric instead for the shirt, the shirt will then look like for like as in the picture I posted. the outfit will definitely look different.
i have a pearl and nauratan set and its one of my favourites - yes, that would also look gorgeous with this outfit, ziggy!
We actually have already purchased the wedding set from Chhotanni's in Karachi. I'm not sure what category it would fall under but it's not Nauratan/Jadau/Kundan Polki. It's a gold necklace and has a kind of antique french regal feel to it, which we really loved...i'll see if I can post pictures, but the quality of the pics are pretty bad...
I actually wanted to consider a normal 2-paincha gharara with the gote at the knee and a short shirt, but she was pretty inisistent that the Farshi gharara was the way to go and that the shirt would therefore have to be longer...
I don;t think farshi ghara's HAVE to be worn with a long shirt right? One of our experts here can probably confirm. And even if she wants a long shirt does it have to be that long? Someone mentioned pakifairy's valima outfit, i don;t think she had a farshi gharara with her long shirt. this picture just looks too overbearing to me cos of the very long shirt. The high gote ghara would look pretty too as would a farshi with a shorter shirt.
Additonally I would keep green for accents only. There is too much of a contrast between peach and this lime green, I think peach and magenta used as main colours would look better. I would keep the shirt and ghara in the same colour, lets say peach and have magenta below the gote with green and peach and gold on it. The dupatta would be magenta too with peach on the inside of the borders and then green, peach and gold work on it. As sahar said substituting aqua for the green would look pretty too. I don;t think green shouod be used as a main colour.
Try drawing a sketch of it yourself and play around with the colours, see what looks good to you. Maybe bunto's clothes look great in person but online I have barely liked just a couple.
i agree about the green part- its a very bright green and the contrast might look a bit clownish with all those colors.
i also agree with keeping it all peach, using magenta as an accent for all of the piping and adding in magenta and green accents to the gold kaam. also perhaps consider having dull gold kaam, i.e. not the super yellow gold as that might transition the outfit into paindu-land a bit, and also you mentioned her set is victorian and has an antique feel to it. i also feel as if there is a lot of detail going on with trimmings and fabric, so it might not be a bad thing to scale back on the kaam a little bit. if your sister in law is tall, she'll pull off the long shirt well. if she's on the petite side, she could look like she's drowning in all that fabric.
