well, listen, you could collect pics of outfits you love and color swatches as well, from new york, and then you could run them by your in-laws and get their opinions on it. so that when you actually go shopping together, everyone has an idea of what you want and don't want, and probably when you show them the pics there'll be some discussion on their likes and dislikes too. ultimately, the goal is to be polite and lovely and bring them into the conversation so that no one gets upset or angry, and you end up with the outfit you want. i'm sure they won't push you into something you're unhappy with. especially if you'll be there shopping with them!

It would be quite rude if they set some budget on you, and it’d be equally rude if you went "I only want designer "… if they’re sane ppl, and they are already offering to take you shopping for your own outfit, chances are they wont raise such a big stink over the price…

ooh! you could reverse the colors here! use pale pink as the main body, and where they’ve put pale pink, use a light blue/teal! that way, you get an outfit with blue in it too! they’ve used dull gold here but white gold kaam would look stunning too.
well lol that was just a fear of mine and no I don’t think I’m gonna buy an overly priced outfit either…if I can get a nice dress for a decent price its fine, don’t care for designers …yea I guess its just my fear since I haven’t really discussed the whole valima situation
