yeah you’re right, the pic is crappy, but here are closeups of the kaam…
i’m SO AMAZED at the amount of effort that went into making it… every single stitch is hand done! its a work of art!

yea definetely need to pull if off together......I got my engagment makeup done from mahrose and well I just didn't like the fake eyelashes ew I dunno why they looked odd cause i already have big lashes but the lady insisted that I put them on
I can't seem to post the link to the dress I like ...i don't understand why

Dude that is gorgeous... are those the real colors or is it the photography? They seem very muted and neutral/light..

yeah those are the actual colors! the cam takes blurry pics sometimes but its colors are spot on! d'oh.

ugh that sucks that I can't post it but its in the bridal pics thread.....its the the red dress that Vaneeza is wearing....oh well if you remember can I get some opinions on it? I was also thinking of blue and red but i dunno how that would look
oh yea this brown is different because it has hints of turquoise in it so it looks prettier but my sister in laws was dark brown (more of dark brown) and then beige so it looked weird but this one's pretty

i think if you do red and blue, the only blue should be piping on the dupatta edge, sleeve edge and gharara/lehenga bottom edge.
i've seen it done and its stunning!

My valima dress was marooon with some turqoise kaam on it..my main set had turqoise and maroon beads on it and I took it a lil further by wearing matching blue churiyan... to me its one of thsoe thigns that just seems weird in my mind but when it comes together..it aint that bad..but still just very very very trendy, which is not bad in itself but only if trendy's what ur going for rather than classic..

hmm didn't you say you wanted the raspberry colored outfit without too much orange.....I think you posted it above ....well hmm so you have the brown and this right as your 2 choices?
yea I was originally thinking of red and blue but i keep going back and forth between all red and that
I was also thinking about that blue and red dress that bargello has up ....with more red though ....but i don't know how that would look

no no, i was saying IF i’d had an indoor wedding, i’d have probably gone with that raspberry/purple/orange combo, but i’m having an outdoor one, so the one i’ve posted pics of, the light champagne/offwhite-ish/light brown one? thats my actual wedding lehenga!

this is another HSY outfit i liked cos it puts a nice spin on all red…

aww champagne colored dress sounds cute…yea that’ll look classy actually…I was just giving an example of too much dark brown with my sister in law but yea yours is different…What kind of style is it?

haha, i know what you mean but mum wanted to see detailed shots so i have more of those than the whole thing.
yeah i dont have any nice ones of the lehenga bottom so i didn't want to put it up here, but its just as lovely as the dupatta!

bisoux- its an a-line lehenga with a short-ish kind of shirt (its 22" long so just skims my hip bone i guess?) and this dupatta. the lehenga is pretty heavy so its going to be tied up so high. i hate that! but oh well.
the dupatta is so heavy! yeeesh. i dunno how many pins are gonna be used to keep it in.

Not keen on the design, maybe if it were diff color the design wud work..

i totaally dis agree with u upon white is a colour of mourning we r not hindus we r muslims n in islam white is a symbol of peace! red colour for bridal is cme from hindus not from us......red colour cmes from hindus in our culture but in islam its not necesary to wear red but in old days people do wear white colour as bridal wear n arabs r a muslim nation thts why they wre white as a bridal colour bout gori's they use to wear it due to symbol of peace...can any one tellme which colour does "BI BI FATIMA ZEHRA" hd wrn on her wedding day?

the blue is there and its quite rich but its subtle and classy.
