my cousin gets clothes from Jamayz all the time and they’re beautiful- very tasteful- but she’s also very expensive.

I have had a really unpleasant experience with Hinab this time. I ordered some clothes for a wedding, the color was wrong, and the suit did not meet the spec that I requested. The second suit was due for an event on August 7, 09 but it turned up on the 11th of August. I have now contacted Hina on several occasions via email but have had very little response as I would like my money back for the suits as I did not wear them on the events a- because they were the wrong colour etc and b- the clothes turned up 6 days later than requested.
Needless do I need to say I was really disappointed with the level of service and lack of communication.
I have been using various designers over the years and am more than happy to recommend them to others as I really do not want someone elses special day to be ruined due thier clothes. Please message me should you need the names, thanks

Karachi based designer Nadia Lakdalwala also stocks in Toronto. She has a boutique in her home in Mississauga. You can contact her at 416 907 4238 & 416 837 1723. I'll be paying her a visit this weekend and will let you guys know how it went :-)
p.s. her stuff is a bit pricey BUT her quality is great.

sorry if this was posted before (havent read through the forum) but i just went to Dulhan in Richmond Hill. The owner had passed away and his son is selling off the last peices of clothes, jewellery, shoes, bangles for really low prices. heavy lenghas are selling between $300-1000. bangles are selling for $5 a set and earrings are around $10. sherwani's are about 250-300. you have to call and make an appointment since he needs to open the shop to show you the stuff.
