Hey guys! (just have to say that I love this website - you guys are SOOO helpful.)
Okay…so, inshaAllah, I am going to get married in August of 2015 and I decided to start looking for bridals now. I have found this Sana Safinaz design that I LOVEEE. I have emailed them for a price and am waiting for a reply. But I was thinking of looking for some more styles and need your help because I have already checked out all the designers I know. Please give me some more designers to check out that make style of bridal I like.
I am interested in dresses that have flowy fabric, long kameez, and are shaped similar to the Sana Safinaz outfit (I am linking you to the picture so you can see).
That's more or less what designers of that calibre charge though... If your budget is under 3, you'll probably have to go to a store like Jabeens or Rim Jhim vs. Working with a designer.
The average minimum for known designer bridal dress these days would be 5 lac. I think you can still get a bridal dress for less than that, by choosing somewhat newer designers like Menahil Mehreen, Farah Talib Aziz, Shehla Chatoor. Or as mentioned above, you can always try bridal boutiques.

Yeah, but my problem is that I'm in the U.S and I probably won't be going to Pakistan before my wedding. I haven't found any good bridal boutiques here.
Oh I will check Shehla Chatoor out! Only problem is I've got google and facebook to find their outfits and they don't always post their bridals there.
My sister bought an @yas outfit for her wedding in 2010 and I really like them but I'm scared they might be too pricy as well. Plus, they don't have pictures of many bridals on their website either.

Where in the US are you? I know a lot of brides here in CA get their bridals from Mirage Boutique in Artesia if they can't go back. It's more expensive than going back but theyre stuff is nice. Also, there's something called Kamal Beverly Hills and they have nice stuff from what I heard (I haven't been there yet). Chicago has a few stores too.
Toronto also has some very good designers with ready to wear bridals that you can try and buy or that you can have customized. Coming to a city in North America for a bridal jora will definitely be more economical than going back to Pakistan.

I'm in New York. I've checked out stores in New Jersey but they're mostly Indian style and I don't like that style.

Yeah, I've heard a lot about Canada. Might just have to plan a trip...
