I'm in New York. I've checked out stores in New Jersey but they're mostly Indian style and I don't like that style.
Edison has three Pakistani places. You can totally get designers from them.
Search Jiya De and NZK these are actual stores in Edison NJ.
There is another lady who works from home - Saima Saleem, she's got good stuff too from what I've seen I've never bought from her.
There is one other one Parlin NJ - office hours by appt and Allah I can't remember her name but she makes good stuff.

Lahore I believe... they have a facebook page "Farah and Fatima Couture" and according to it, they do take online orders.

There are quite a few new and upcoming designers in pak who arereally talented. I dont see why girls insist on breaking tbeir hearts when they cant afford hsy/n omi ansari. Look around in malls in khi/lhr/isb you will find several designer shops with really unique stuff in it. They even have websites with online shipping options sometimes.

You're right, there are some really great new designers in Pakistan now. I've found some good ones but its hard because I'm in the U.S and won't be traveling to Pakistan before my wedding. I really want my dress from a designer in Pakistan (new or old designer - as long as theyre affordable) but sometimes, they only post/show limited designs. I really wish I could go before my wedding but I can't and I don't have any family in Pakistan to go for me either.

Unless I was there in person, I wouldn't order from a designer in Pakistan, new or established. They are just too many horror stories of unfinished pieces, shifty customer service, late deliveries, unaccountability etc. It's a nightmare scenario.

Really? I'm really confused. My sister ordered her bridal from a designer in Pakistan in 2010 and it came out really good. But I get what you mean, I guess I'll visit stores here and hopefully will find something from here. I'm getting married in the UK but dresses there are super expensive...I'd rather buy from here.

Didn't you read the newest thread here about the wedding in 8 days and no dress or jewellery? The concept of customer service doesn't exist in Pakistan, and no amount of money saved is worth the stress of not knowing what your dress looks like or when it will arrive.
So ya, really. If your sis already had a great experience with someone, why not order through them? At least they are tried and tested.

I agree... For me, I'd rather go to designers I have ordered from before, and know they can deliver.

Didn't get a chance to read that thread yet...will go read it now! Haha Yeah, that's my plan for now...so go through my sister's designer. Well, I'm hoping to get a trip to Canada squeezed in so not going to make any rash decisions yet! Thank you for the warning! Will be SUPER careful now.

In my opinion, a designer who gives u time and treats you nicely will most likely not give you a nightmare. I've heard horror stories about the biggest names. We ordered my cousins bridal recently from a relatively new design house in khi. The owner was sweet and kept in touch throughout.. We were more than satisfied. Bottom line- make sure you chat up with the designer and he/she treats u well. Secondly don't pay full in advance. We paid half advance and half after seeing a complete pic of the dress.

There are a few designers who I have heard good feedback of ... and not too expensive (mainly cuz they are not as busy as Bunto HSY etc). One of them is Farah Talib Aziz ... I believe she does good quality work and is open to shipping abroad. Last year I saw a bride who bought her bridal and mehndi from her but didn't go to Pakistan. It was definitely better quality than a few famous designers including Karma ...
