^^ Let's wait and see. While Brian's loss is indeed a sad thing as Salman said himself in statement released at Junoon forums but things change and life goes on. VS did the first album with Salman, did his departure effected them ? Junaid went solo after that, was hid album a flop ?
first of all the topic has lost any kind of meaning. Now are we discussing if Brian's firsing was wrong or are we saying Junoon is going to collapse after Brian ?
As far as his departure is concerned, while unfortuante I think Salman had no other option. He paid the guy for 3 years while Brian tried to get his life togather. You can feel sorry for a guy but at the end of the day the naked truth is Brian's personal life is not Salman's headache. What else do you want Salman to do, bend over !!!!!!
as far as if Junoon is done after Brian, only time will tell so no point in arguing about it. Many people will have different views about that. While Salman did most of the compositions with Ali also starting to put his fair share in so Brian wont be missed much there. Composition, lyrics all are secndary. The first thing people notice is the voclaist and Ali is still there so Brian wont be missed in that department either. So they wont have Brian as the basist. I am sure there are plenty of people in Pakistan who can pick up the salck let alone the face that they have a fine basist in John Alec.
What do you know about Junoon? If I remember correctly, you couldnt even distinguish between Salman Ahmed and Salman Khan in a thread here. I guess you should stick to Bollywood...

THAT thread was entitled salman not full name, then when i read the article and came across the bit: using one's guitar and reciting a quranic ayat.... i said no way is janoon's salman gonna stoop so low and do that and frankly speaking 2/3 of that articlewhen referring to salman just read SALMAN SALMAN, not salman ahmed how the hell was i suposed to know which salman u were referring to, if the full name was written @ the start then it would've helped no?

Can't believe I am saying this but I AGREE WITH SPOCK!!!!!!! Hindian culture has so invaded your mind that you can't distinguish a pakistani artist and a hindian one.
the other smoothies knows what they are talking about. We are criticizing the band’s deteriorating (spelling) skills. It’s not the smoothies fault that mullah junoonis are calling them kaafirs and trying to attack them for their viewpoint.
I agree with PCG Ayesha Alam is insane. With the responsibility of two daughters she needs to chill down. Taking part in acts like V- Monologue could prove deadly in Pakistan. To hell with the morality but she needs to try and stay alive for her kids. Although V - Monologue was an invitation only event in Pakistan but plenty of people knew about it.
As far as calling Junoon "Kaafirs" tell me what exaclty is Junoon doing that any other band is not doing. Heck they all dont even have long hair anymore, Ahmed Jahenzeb's hair is hell of a lot longer. Thats what governments problem with Junoon was the first time around. They shoot their videos at somewhat decent locations, some bands have shot their "Heera Mandi" in Lahore. So why pick only on Junoon ???

I think you didn't understand what I was trying to say. I compared us, who criticize junoon to being kaafirs. Just like a secularist who questions some of the religious practices are immediately branded as kaafirs by mullah, we get attacked by junoonis for speaking out against the "biggest band in south asia." I wasn't calling junoon kaafirs.

Exactly, those bashers should stick to their paani-poori-ahmed-jahenzeb genres
LUC what can I say about that now? Why in the world would you think Salman Khan was singing? Also, do you consider him to be a very pious person?
