Like I said…no one complains when you see women wearing showing em off to feel sexy or “cool off” but feed your kid…

It is quite debateable, using your logic “it just depends on the use.” then complete female body is a sexual object !
Talking about ‘on the use’… American society has very strong stereotype against use of women… It encourages to use body of women for all commercial purposes, but denies the right to perform most natural parental duty, and sees is like it is something ewww disgusting !
Contrary to general perception, I see most of the guys unlike girls, are consistant with their thoughts … I would like to re-affirm my stance There is nothing wrong in breast feeding in public. It is most natural thing to do and prev ladies in this thread should try to focus on something else while being confronted by this situation. 
The most screwed aproach is shown by American society. But, interestingly most muslim socities are in agreement with feminist ( and very correct) demand That " Women should be allowed to go top free in public places if men are allowed to do so". Islamic societies dont allow men to go to public places top free… so no discrimination :k:
similarly women cover their chests while breast feeding if they are in public place … everything is fine and dandy
