armughal, men do not feed on their women's boobs. Women are not lactating all the time. They only lactate, I think it starts right before the baby is born. Goes until the baby is growing up - I think it stops at different times - just as soon as you wean the baby off. Not sure though. But a woman certainly wont be dripping milk on any random day that you decide to have sex with her.

i remember reading in a pakistani newspaper under the “Islamic Q&A” section, a man asking if it was ok for him to drink his wife’s milk…
and he continued to ask if he wud have to divorce her if he used her milk to make tea!!!
have read many similar questions in the religion column…
so just imagine whats going on in the non-religion section…

swallowing the wife's milk is a serious issue for most mulsim men and they r seriously seeking an answer for it in the light of Islamic Fiqh....
i dont think they intend to joke when they question the aalim who answers the questions in the newspapers/magazines....

Haven't read the comments, but I think Islamically speaking, a woman is allowed to bf in public.
armughal, I know if a woman breastfeeds another baby, that child becomes like her son/daughter.

Only when baby is within 24 months of age…
as for if it is islamically allowed or not, covering up is still Islamically wajib.

cat-woman u'll find a big debate just on the issue of a woman being in a public place, let alone her lifting up (or pulling down) her dress to feed her baby and at the same time putting her body on public display....

I've only seen a few women breast feed in public, and they tend to cover themselves up while feeding rather than completely exposing themselves for the whole world to see. I don't have a problem with it, everybody just carries on with their own business and as far as I've noticed, nobody really pays attention to it.

I think there should be clearly marked dedicated booby places at all public places, in Shopping Malls, Airports, Public Parks, and other such places.
It’s about nature, and not about displaying one’s boobs.

It grosses me out too.
It indeed is a very natural process and like other natural processes should be performed in privacy. I never did understand my cousins spreading there dupattas and stuffing the kid inside for its meal with men and women around them...WTH is up with that!!! An empty room is only a few steps away. If you are out in public and there is absolutely no way u can be in a private place I guess its alright but honestly ur first priority should be to go somewhere private.

FF Ji, a mommy is carrying her young baby to a public park, it’s titty time. What’s she to do? Go looking for a private place while the little rascal is screaming on top of his lungs? What's such a big (or medium) deal about breastfeeding?
