I’d agree with Madhanee line of thinking. There is really no need to ostracize the mother by asking her to go into a private room. Ofcourse, if she wants to breastfeed in private, she should avail the Family Lounges that are built inside many malls. But a more practical problem is that this is a fairly distracting activity, especially when the mother wants to continue chatting while re-arranging her clothes to feed the baby in public. You look the other way and she thinks you are rude, you look at her and you are a pervert. This is really a no-win situation.
