Re: Breaking news: Shooting at Illinois campus
Since gun laws are already strict, where could he get it?
Which country are you referring to?
I'll make It simple:
ProtestEasyGuns.com is a grassroots protest movement that emerged last year in
response to the deadliest shooting rampage in U.S. history at Virginia Tech.
Supporters are outraged at how easy it is to obtain a gun in the United States
and believe it is time to change lax U.S. gun laws that allow criminals easy
access to guns. Each of the protests includes about 32 individuals
(symbolizing the number of students and teachers murdered at Virginia Tech).

Who said "every student" should carry a gun? Allow people to carry concealed weapons with concealed weapons permit to carry a gun... those who wish to should be able to, those who are not comfortable with guns do not have to.
Ok, and how can you be so sure that non of those "who wish to carry a weapon" is not one of those who is finally going to massacre another 15-20 ppl?

Strict laws will not prevent criminals from getting guns, period. Cracking down will only do what cracking down on drugs does... its like water in a baloon, you push one end, it comes out the other. It doesn't work.

So any country with strict gun laws (more strict than the States) has failed to understand the necessity to protect his/her citizen by a gun?! Therefore we see hardly any killings in other country, but most in America?
Hmmm interesting logic.
