Why the hell are they after shoeb's life? Poor thing, gets banned for doing nothing at all now?? They should really preserve players like Shoeb who can cause shivers down the spines of opponents... Why is PCB hellbent on making pakistan team more weak when they need some strength...

i hope this decision will stick; his presence on the team has plagued us for many years and he’s wasn’t worth the trouble. well done PCB for making a bold move.
his friendships with the opposition (particularly the indians) irritated the hell out of me and to be honest it seemed like he was more close with them than he was with his own countrymen.

good riddance. pathetic guy was more in bed with the indian team than in field with his own team. is more interested in bollywood crap than to play for team pak and above all lacked any true commitment / determination to give his all for the team.this is a very good decision by PCB and they should do everything possible to keep him out of the team pak even after 5 years ban is over. the one option i can think of is to ship him off to gitmo for life.

Lets move on and play with the new talent that we have got. We are not aiming to be No. 1 team in 12 months anyways. So let start with long term planning. Its a good start in first phase to dicipline the players. Now Younis, MoYo, Akmal and Malik needs to get their head straight. Play and perform, or goto lower catagory on renewal of the contract, or sacked in Akmal and Malik's case.
We need solid professionals who can deliver. Let the new blood come, two in every series. This will increase our bench strength. We have tremendous talent mashallah. Start believing in our national talent, instead of relying on some poondizbaaz super star.
Just to add one thing, this decision should have been taken when he hit Asif last year. All hot-headed 'stars' should be grounded as soon as they found guilty of some offense.
