So....what crime did he commit? I still haven't heard anything about what laws he broke.

Don't you think that it is crime that to take all benefits of an agreement and than break that agreement?
Just imagine that someone marry a woman and that means agreement that she would not become mother of someone else child, than is it not crime that she did not follow that agreement and become mother of someone else’s child? :)
I am not talking about agreement of NS with Pakistan, but agreement of NS with Saudi King, agreement that he made with Saudi King when he left Saudia for medical reason, and that he would not involve in Politics and would return back to Saudia as soon.
Re: Breaking News: Sharif 'taken to Pakistan jail' (Merged)
What Saudi law did he break? Show me the money....err law.

Did NS break his agreement with Saudi King or not? If he did, that is breaking the law of Saudia (well, breaking agreement in any country is breaking the law of that country).
Re: Breaking News: Sharif 'taken to Pakistan jail' (Merged)
I thought the supreme court said every Pakistani has the right to be in Pakistan including Nawaz Sharif. Fair enough if he was prosecuted for alleged corruption, money laundering. Stuck in prison etc... but this getting rid of him to me looks like illegal.
Re: Breaking News: Sharif 'taken to Pakistan jail' (Merged)
Well, this seems over. Put it behind and move on.
NS will have a lot less leeway in ksa than uk. May be he'll have to work for a living in the construction industry.

What do u think? If someone breaks a law in UK and run to Pakistan (even if that law is not a crime in Pakistan) than should Pakistan deport that person to UK or not? Do you think that it legal that Pakistan should give refuge to all criminals wanted in other countries?
Re: Breaking News: Sharif 'taken to Pakistan jail' (Merged)
A signature made with a gun pointed to your head is not worth the paper it's written on...with the right pressure you can make a person sign anything that doesn't mean its got any value.

Now he would be 'mahman' of Saudi King differently than the type of 'Mahman' he was last time :) Probably now Saudia would import some servants for NS from Kandhar (Afghanistan) so that they can look after him day and night :)

Oh yea. So when NS was leaving Saudia to west with agreement that he would not indulge in politics and would return back to Saudia, than that was made with gun pointed on his head?

Re: Breaking News: Sharif lands in Pakistan/ deported to Saudi (Merged)
I just heard on Geo he's been sent to the same Suroor Palace where he lived since Dec 2000 and there are speculations he could be shifted to his own palace the "Sharif Mahal" in Jeddah. And his mother lives in Madinah (possibly in another sharafat ka mahal owned by the mians) and will be joining him soon.

Well if you remember he as arrested on allegations of corruption and money laundering earlier today. If so prosecute him on those grounds. Unconstitutional to deport him for some silly agreement.
Re: Breaking News: Sharif lands in Pakistan/ deported to Saudi (Merged)
Agreed, he should have been hanged like Bhutto was. Why do we give Punjabis so much leeway but not Sindhis or others?

Now, now, look what happened to Zia-ul-Haq.
Re: Breaking News: Sharif lands in Pakistan/ deported to Saudi (Merged)
Now Look what we got here, members who have postrayed them selves as not a personality worshippers are justifying an illegal act by their beloved president.
Sharif Corrupt or not, good or bad, once in Pakistan treat him according to the law, why Mushy got "maRooR" in his stomach from a corrupt and unpopiular leader.
Speaking of which, Benazir is the most Corrupt PM of this time, and MUSH is licking her feets to get a deal from her, so different laws for different people, thats why we call it
"yeh uss ka Pakistan hay ju Sadr-e-Pakistan hay"
Re: Sharif deported once again
Why yes it is. Violating the constitution and then the laws of the land. How can he be considered a leader when he actively shows he has no respect for the people of Pakistan, its constitution and its laws?
^^ true true
Re: Breaking News: Sharif 'taken to Pakistan jail'
Well, let say that NS made illegal agreement in 2000. But once that agreement is made that was with Saudi Arabia too ... than broke that agreement, he broke the law of Saudia.
Now tell me that if a person broke a law of another friendly country and ran to his country (from the prison of another friendly country), what is the duty of his country (Pakistan) when other friendly country (KSA) demands their criminal back? To send that peson back to that other country or not?
sorry saleem mian but I have to say it "chutyapay ki baton mai mahir kar diya Musharraf ke defense ne aap ko"
Re: Breaking News: Sharif 'taken to Pakistan jail'

Re: Breaking News: Sharif lands in Pakistan/ deported to Saudi (Merged)
I don’t like shariff and dnt think he shud have been allowed back, the GUy is corrupt and does not or never has had the country’s interests at heart, however if the SC has said that he should be allowed to cum back then tbh its quite out of order to send him on a plane to jeddah, musharraf and his crew really aren’t doin themselves any favours, and this shariff is becumin a hero 4 no reason ![]()
