Dunya News reports that intelligence agencies have recovered Shahbaz Taseer from Kuchlak area, near Quetta. he phoned his mother from the restaurant where he had food [bill Rs. 350]. good news after 4.5 years.

Chief Minister and Choudhury Nisar Khan have confirmed the reports.

how come Shahbaz was dropped off at on a street. why? he could have been kidnapped again...why didn't the intelligence agencies delivered him to his mother?

i don't get it!

If the news is true then it's a fantastic news for the taseer family. After Qadri's execution and now Shahbaz's recovery, the family can have a closure.

I wonder whatever happened to Gilani's son

^ Yusuf Raza Gilani came was on the news congratulating Taseer family and hoping similar end to his son's abduction.

i believe the news is true because the CM and Choudhury Nisar Khan have confirmed the news. people in streams are coming to Taseer's family home to congratulate on Shahbaz Taseer's recovery.

I was thinking about a different game. He was kidnapped after his father was murdered, may be he is released now and will be the target-practice for someone else?

coming to the topic, they way he has been dropped off at a roadside dhaba all alone to fend for himself suggests that he was released by the captors themselves. since intelligence agencies did not reveal the ‘when, where and how’ details of the recovery of Shahbaz Taseer, i wonder if a ransom was paid out.

poor thing had to eat first because he was hungry. he paid fRs. 350 for his food and had to phone from a PCO [Public Call Office].

now, ex PM Gilani is also expecting his son’s recovery. if he is also released within a short time [which i pray that he does] then this inference will gain momentum that a ransom was paid. let’s see, pray and hope that Gilani’s son is also released.

In balochistan it seems as if there is some collaboration between the nationalists and Taliban. No one really knows but I heard some people claiming that he was with LEJ

maeray payaray bhai, as far as i remember, when i opened this thread, there was no other thread on this topic in PA but it is possible that i am mistaken and you have your thread opened before me. In any case, I did not merge any 2 threads on this topic.

from what i know all these years, PA forum meant "Personal Affairs" and what is happening between me and KKF is well withing our personal affairs.
