Press Conference going on on GEO by Nawaz, Asfand and fazlur Rehman. A committee will draft a resolution for the restoration of the judges over the weekend. The resolution will be presented to the National Assembly on monday and after two days debate it will be passed on wednesday and the jusdges will be restored.
Lets see if it happens this time. There have been many false dawns with regards to restoration of judges before as well.

I was watching the press conf on tv & judging form NS tone/expression I don't think he believes it going to happen. Also, I think Zardari is buying for more time & Aug 27 will come & go like many deadlines before w/o judges getting back their old jobs.

bhayee the game is that, Zardari wants to be president, so that he cant be prosecuted by CJ or Supreme Court... Zardari only wants all other coalition partners to name him as president and then all of us will see Cj and all other judges restoration at Eid gift..
People should wait until 27 August. The former judges and the EX CJ could still be restored.

ehtasab bhaijan. I believe you mean the National Assembly and the Senate, which are collectively known as the Parliament. According to Nawaz Sharif and Aitizaz Ahsan, only an executive order by the PM is required to restore the former judges. But the PPP believes a Parliamentary resolution is required (or even a constitutional amendment).

If the illegal house arrest of the judges can be removed through an executive order, the restoration can be done as well.
