Now that Gilani is charged for contempt by SC, something I predicted on other blogs and yesterday I posted my new article on my blog to conclude that Gilani should be made an example by the SC and no more dithering on this matter. I am glad SC has followed this path. I have requested this and other measures from CJ in my mails to him durling last 6 months.

I dont think Zardari will risk making Pervaiz Illahi a Prime minister, as that would end his party! In the case of Gillanis resignation he will try to get some one of a good standing in PPP to do the job, but i doubt any one would like to get the job (for a short duration) and take all the blame in the end.

He is much better then these present politician’s … He has some thing nice on his credit. Although Politically I"m also against him but appreciate his good work :cobra: as I"m not blind followers who can’t see other good things 
- Rescue 1122 (This is indeed a big achievement and they have rescued thousands of ppl)
- Emergency Facility improved in lot of hospitals
- Lining of canals

AP uncle, whats the point for defending chors/ looters. Just earlier chor/looters were not held accountable does not justify defending the current lot. If you really think that action taken by SC are just biased and baseless, then there is a point for defending. We should stop playing victim cards.. Let these thugs get punishment for what they did, that would definitely be lesson for future governments to come.

PM has decided to show-up at court on the notice on 19th Jan. A rare sensible decision perhaps. As a show of force (or support), all the allies (PML-Q, MQM, ANP and others) will flank PM to the court.
IN another development, ANP has shown solid support of PPP (and PM) with Asfand Yar Wali telling media categorically that "we trust Gilani and we will not ask for his resignation". This means that even if somehow NS (or establishment) is able to break MQM and Q away from PPP, PPP govt will still survive.

SC not charging Pasha & Kiyani doesn't automatically give a permit to any tom, dick and harry to loot.
