his sister's coming. never shoulda let the ******* into the country

Re: Breaking News: Musharraf resigns
Sad day for Pakistan...
Pres. Musharraf did not do anything that would harm Pakistan. How can we trust the thieves and elitist Zardari and Nawaz yet again when we know these two are far far far worse than our outgoing president. How can we forget the troubles Pakistan endured right after 911 and the Indian military confrontation when both armies were eye ball to eye ball that followed right after to pressure Pakistan? How can we forget the economic hardship of late 90's during Nawaz sharif's rule? Are we as a nation really that dumb and blind? Who is there now to stop Mr. 10% and Mr. Elitist?
One thing that nobody can deny is that Pres. Musharraf is 10000 times more sincere and patriotic then any other person who currently is a leader. In previous 8 months I have not heard about a single issue in Pakistan other than restoration of judges and courts. Are these really the direst issues our country is facing? Are we blind to see that even though we do have other judges as capable as the suspended ones, but do we have a leader who is as honest as Pres. Musharraf? Who is better in this day and age? Do we really think we can go against the wishes of America today? Are we realistically that powerful? What is it that Pakistan did not achieve in last 8 years? Can anyone think of a time in Pakistan's history when the media was more independent than it is now? When did we have more transparent election then the most recent one?
I don't know why but it is there throughout in our history that whenever there is a change in power our nation comes out on the streets and start dancing as though it is really going to fix every single issue immediately. Of course it won’t happen; people will get tired of the new govt just like they did with the previous one and will again dance on streets when the army takes over again in a few years (I remember the fan fair when Gen. Musharraf took over).
Today, my heart is distressing because we have badly broken the heart of an honest person who has served our country for almost 45 years. I don’t know if God will ever forgive us for this. Unlike Nawaz Sharif and Zardari, Pres. Musharraf did not have any desire to be in power to begin with. He was sort of force to take command and the events in the U.S and the region that followed never let Gen. Musharraf sort out issues properly.
I know in just a few months Pakistanis will be missing Pres. Musharraf and his honesty and sincerity. Pres. Musharraf was right when he said -Pakistan ka Allah hafiz!
May allah protect Pakistan and Muslims from all evils and emenies (ameen)
Re: Breaking News: Musharraf resigns
I hope people will give him fair justice & try him under article 6 & charge him with treason. :D

What about the* 'Laal Masjid'* Issue? wasn't it the part of his Era?
Re: Breaking News: Musharraf resigns
Democratic forces have triumphed over dictatorship.
Lets not forget:
The people he sold to America, Aafia siddique being one of them
His famous words “if you want to get a visa to canada get yourself raped”
Destroying institutions like Judiciary
Brutalising the whole nation on 3 Nov
Breaking the constitution twice
To him it was a case of Kursi first and Pakistan second.
Khus kum Jahan Pak
Pakistan Zinda bad. ![]()
What about the* 'Laal Masjid'* Issue?
lal masjid issue? what about it?
Pres. Musharraf did not do anything that would harm Pakistan. ?
true (except for the killings @ the name of war on terror which i strongly object)
Who is there now to stop Mr. 10% and Mr. Elitist? )
they always gets this lucky
Can anyone think of a time in Pakistan's history when the media was more independent than it is now? )
nope

which shows the world that the loosers r gone now & country is saved forever, which actually happened like never

ameen sum ameen
it might be music to the ears of those people who had become against him. for some, and they are few in numbers, that is just bad news.
I was not much of a fan of the guy but still i feel sorry for the guy. in the worst of the times most of the people who had earlier reaped the benefits from his presidency. if you ever wanted to see a live show of rats leaving the sinking ship, that was it.
some might say that it was his own faults that did his undoing. but one thing must be remembered. he was a soldier and not a politician. so his first mistake was when he entered politics. politics was never his arena. he thought that people who supported him would stay with him forever; they did not.
his second was his unabashed support for the American policies. like so many of our powerful leaders he forgot that power flowed from the people of the country, not from the corridors of white house. by alienating his people he quickly lost support and thus the moral reason to preside. when the time came for the Americans to support him, they were not there. Condi told it in public that America was not in a mood to give him any political asylum. so much for the “indispensable ally”. it shows that he was dispensable after all.
his other suicidal move was the sacking of judges, twice. this made the people come out on streets. as it has happened so often in history when people come out, guillotines fall too. this was no exception. heads had to roll, the final one being that of the president. ( ofcourse i used all that metaphorically)
but the question is what will happen after that. call me a cynic but to tell you the truth nothing will change. nothing ever changes in this country. some other idiot will take his place. and before we know it, we might yet see another coup. there are no signs yet, but here coups are a quick, swift affair. they just happen.

lal masjid issue? what about it?
It's not the incident to forget. worst thing that he could do. I am not saying that his resignition is good nor am I celebrating but I won't favor whatever he has done to this country just because of his misdeeds which cannot/should not be forgotten.
Democratic forces have triumphed over dictatorship.
sorry, but what effin democratic are u talking about? the chores that are sitting in the assembly? mr. 10 percent? nawaz sharif? if ur referring to those democratic forces, then i must say god bless pakistan.
secondly, i personally don't understand how democratic 'forces' and a feudal system co exsist ?
jamooriiyat jamooriyat ka nara laga bohat asaan hota hai.
Re: Breaking News: Musharraf resigns
So far no body has been able to find the "loot' he did.
Exactly....what exactly is it that Pakistanis think they are celebrating.....? !!!
we celebrate eevrything. politics is a like a game to us, and events like these are like goals.
Re: Breaking News: Musharraf resigns
the "democratic" parties of PPP run by the Bhutto clan and the PML run by the "shareef" are democratic and so far away from dictatorships that Mr Ameen Faheem had to leave the party....!!!
In any case despite all his shortcomings Musharraf was better than these two bit crooks of politicians that your all rooting for!
Re: Breaking News: Musharraf resigns
the most 'jazbaati quam' in the world will celebrate anything and everything.
