lol that's what the 'bechari qaum' can do I think. Nothing in the hands of the nation so what are they supposed to do?
What about the* 'Laal Masjid'* Issue? wasn't it the part of his Era?
Could you suggest a better solution? What do you think a govt. is suppose to do when you have some thugs in the profile of religious persona holding hostages on gun point inside a masjid? Why anyone needs weapon inside a place of worship? If the govt did not deal with the issue forcefully you would be seeing a thousand lal masjids all across the country. I am sure when Pres. Musharraf goes to a masjid he respects it as much as we do. I am convinced that people who can wear a 'burqa' to get away in disguise while others including women and children are being held hostage can do just about anything to harm and kill just about anyone. It was a tough but right decision. The new Lal masjid is now yellow and is a much better place than it was under those thugs who are now dead.
In any case despite all his shortcomings Musharraf was better than these two bit crooks of politicians that your all rooting for!

even though my heart bleeds for her , but this isn't the first time that pakistani's were sold , many many people r still missing whose names we don't even know ..........and musharraf brutally admit that in his book, like no one ever did before

Are we forgetting the time when the goons at the mosque were going around slapping women in Isb and closing down businesess and burning peoples livelihood.?? What would any goverment in that situation do?.....invite them over for tea?

How many masjids have you been to that have a matel detector? What makes you think that moving any kind of weapons in Pakistan is something really difficult? Anyways you can beleive whatever you wish but I think people who challenge the state should never be spared.

i always believed that musharaff was a better not the best of the ruler for pakistan, so he should've been replaced by someone more competent & courageous than him, but the people eyeing / expected to be the next head of the state r certainly not the ones...........
