Re: Breaking News...Gen Ashfaq Kiani appointed new COAS
good news, but this messed up oppisition will find another excuse to try and get rid of musharaf, but hopefully he'll whip there butts and take pakistan to prosperity,
Re: Breaking News…Gen Ashfaq Kiani appointed new COAS
This should make Mush acceptable to the people who think that he is good but are against his uniform (like SMZafar, PPP and ME etc) and for the people who are here to oppose him for the sake of opposition (like MMA, PML(N) and many guppies ) , he cant do enough no matter what!
Re: Breaking News...Gen Ashfaq Kiani appointed new COAS
I have funny feeling by looking this guy's picture. He will send Mushrraf and the next govt packing...as tradition set by Zia and then by Mushrraf.
BTW, my prediction is that SC will postpone election until its done with petitions pending before the court regarding Mushrraf's candidacy.
I don't know why I am also having the same feeling. But I don't think thats going to happen.
Mush has already generated a lot of ill will amongst the masses at large, nobody really looks upto him anymore so whether he is sent packing to Boston or he loses in this battle of wits doesn't really matter. But if he wins as Reza and others are predicting, a powerful President in his person will surely be a death knell for the future democratic setup. alas!
He had a chance to change the course of history in Pakistan but sadly he is doing exactly what his predecessors did.
I have met Gen Kiyani and from what I know, he is a low key and very soft spoken person.
