is'nt what this is all about for hair?money?hair after his incident with murali was able to sell a book and make money out of that,here he is going to get another opportunity to sell another book and he wanted icc to cut him a deal and save themselves a lot of stress.Its amazing that Malcom Speed would say that he has sympathy for Hair and that he may have been under stress when he wrote the letter.If ICC does'nt fire this guy after this I am going to be shocked.I think speed was trying to cover his own ass more than anything else by revealing the letter ofcourse he does'nt want to be caught hiding something at a time when Pakistan is preparing a lawsuit against Hair.The fact that Speed is still standing by this guy and saying that people should have sympathy for him is appalling.

a fact about the murali incident that a lot of people don't know before that match where murali was called for throwing, murali bowled in a side match in Australia where Hair was umpiring and Hair did'nt call him for chucking then, ofcourse he wanted to wait for a more important match where he could get more attention and sell his book after that.

I have checked the scorecards for that enitre tour and Hair only officiated in that controversial 2nd test match @ Melbourne.

After watching the video/footage (thanks to fkhan bhai and who created this video) I came to this conclusion, and they way Hair wrote this letter I wish I had won the jackpot, I would throw money on his face, but on a serious note here is what I think should be done!!! and I did give ICC an earful too, and I know they dont read all this.
*** The letter he wrote was unethical, and ICC bosses should not appear to give excuses and elaborate what psychological pressure he has been under, if that was the case then he shouldn’t have conducted the test matches in the first place. ICC must take action against D. Hair in light of his letter and black mail of $ 500,000, if not then what was assumed of ICC will be open to public.
If there is no action against Hair then ICC should not take any action against Inzimam because the root cause was ball tampering and there is no evidence of that at all !!!
The delay of Inzi's hearing is a slap in the face of ICC, it shows how incompetent the management and infrastructure is at the helm of ICC, if one assigned Match referee is not able to adjudicate then the other Match referee should be made available. God forbid what if there is another problem with the same referee and he can't come for the hearing!!! will they postponed the hearing again !!!!***

I cannot believe this….I am sitting in my office and cannot quit smiling right now……my staff must be thinking that I have gone NUTS…..unbelievable stuff….Hair is a real ULLO KA PATHHA…how could he make such a stupid offer in the middle of the crisis…..but Alhamdo o Lillah, his shear stupidity has made out lives little easier…..what a break for Pakistan…..I still cannot believe that Hair did that…..now, I am just feeling sorry for him…

While having my lunch I was just wondering that ICC is so much caring about Hair’s being “under pressure” and “under stress” and all of his “sins” can be forgiven because of this, but cant the understand that Pakistani team and specially inzi was under stress and physicological pressure when they refused to come out? hmmm

speed is just trying to cover his own ass by being honest in the matter..icc has been behind hair for the last 10 years inspite of his problems with murali..hair was not supposed to call murali as per icc rules on the ground ,he was supposed to report his action to the referee according to his co umpire in that infamous match.

Kamal kartay ho DC yar, why should ICC sympathize with Pakistani team who are Khandani cheaters and only thing their bowlers know is ball tampering.
On the other hand it is ICC’s moral obligation to take Saint Darrel Hair’s side, no matter what he says or does, simply because he cannot commit a sin.
