British forces and demonstrators exchanged gunfire in the southern city of Basra today after two British men were arrested for allegedly shooting at local security forces, killing one policeman and wounding another.
Authorities said four civilians were wounded in the clashes that broke out after the arrest of the two men, identified by Basra security officials as British undercover officers dressed as Arabs.
So all these bombs/attacks against shias seem to make a lot more sense now, the US/UK and no doubt Isreali forces have been trying to start a civil war for a long time now, doesn’t seem to working no matter how dirty they get.

As the news media have been reliably telling us lately, the attacks on Iraq police have been carried out by terrorists.
These guys attacked the Iraqi police, so they are terrorists too. It seems that after these British terrorists were arrested, the Coalistion friends of the terrorists tried to drive down in Warrior Armoured Vehicles with heavy 25mm cannons to to the police station to try and “rescue” them.
Fortunately the Iraqi people managed to fight off the terrorists, setting 2 armoured vehicles on fire. It seems that the terrorists’ friends inside the armoured vehicles were set on fire too!
Looks like the shias have seen straight through this crap too, nothing more suspicious than a shia. Hold on to your hats ladies it's going to be a bumpy ride in Basra...[edited]
Or, the Brits were trying to prevent more attacks on Shia, given the upcoming pilgrimage, and everybody got itchy trigger fingers, and mistakes were made in identities. Far more likely than Stupid Billies’ conspiracy theories…
