There can be other reasons for the crash. But **this plane was grounded by Shaheen and bought by Bhoja Air... This model is banned to be used by countries in Europe, US and Middle East....
How can Civil Aviation give clearance to such aircrafts?** It is also reported that the pilot was also a retired pilot. A retired pilot doesn't mean he was unfit to fly and its still not something very acceptable.

This is criminal negligence by civil aviation authorities*. Same mistakes being repeated over and over again by incompetent authorities in Pakistan. A retired pilot doesn't necessarily mean that he is unfit to fly the plane but why take such huge risks. Both the recent air crashes near Islamabad involved **private planes *(the pilot involved in the other crash was an old man as well)

*the deceased pilot in question was a Retired Air Force Pilot...Air Force Pilots are retired when they are pretty young...as i understand he wasn't an 'old man'. *

A number of airlines have grounded Boeing 737 for many technical problems. Unless 737 is certified by Boeing to be safe, it should never be flied. Boja owners are responsible for flying this defective airplane, they should at least pay compensation to deceased and for damages to houses. CAA is also responsible for issuing license to this company for flying obsolete version of 737.

Lessons to be learned from this tragedy
check the age of the pilot before boarding the plane
still much safer to fly by commercial airlines - PIA or Emirates etc. Personally I will never ever fly on a private plane - Shaheen, Bhoja or whatever
Best to avoid flying when there might be risk of thunder and lightning (I know that is not something very easy to predict always). Best to cancel the flight on a very cloudy day and take the next available flight. Be safe than sorry

It seems the area around Islamabad is just prone to mishaps because of the airport location close to hills. A newer airport could not be ready any sooner. Golden Asif's and other suggestions are also to be looked upon. Such negligence that results in even a single loss of life is essentially blood on the hand of all those who in one way or another didn't perform their professional job, or turned a blind eye.

Don’t know if this crash is similar to the air blue crash or not. Here is a perspective into the causes of the Airblue crash.

Exactly, what room do we have for another stinking C-grade airline, when there already are domestic ones already. 
I read that Bhoja Air was bankrupt in 1993, and now they bought this plane that crashed for just $400,000. Imagine what kind of a plan can you get for this amount. And not just that, it had repair costs of $1,000,000 which I am sure were not done.
The people who are responsible will walk scotch free again, and this massive disaster will again become a footnote in our sad history. Just like so many others before this, what happened to the investigations of Air Blue? Zilch. First the PIA Multan crash, then Air Blue, and now this. More than 500 lives lost all due to corrupt negligence.
