I heard Dunya News reporting that 3 women pessengers are found unconcious and moved to ICU in a hospital. Could not verify/confirm it yet.

this is extremely sad incident :( CCTV news reports there were 15-12 kids on place inluding infants :( Allah tallah rehem kare ! daily people are dying all over pakistan !

I remember reading that islamabad airport didn't have a computer assisted landing system at the time of the air blue crash, so I hope that has been fixed.

I understand there is something called IATA Protocol or something similar to it airlines following these protocol get registered with IATA... now how many private airlines in Pakistan are registered with IATA or follow their protocol, or is there any protocol designed by the CAA to make sure that all planes which have completed their flying time i.e. have spent 25+ years in service should not be used for a flight where it is have to be in the air for more than an hour? is there anything of that sort???
2ndly, i would like to bring this to the attention to the viewers of this this forum, it is my personal observation, that the moment it is announced that " we are about to land" almost everyone switch on their mobiles as if it is some kind of requirement for the landing... in the new series of planes, the air navigation and control system can handle this thing, but in the older models in which our fore-fathers used to travel and one which are in use in most of the private airlines in Pakistan these mobile phones or laptops can cause serious damage...

When it comes to planes, 27 is not that old. Its the maintenance that count beside that no one knows if it was due to weather, pilot error or something else but everyone including media is speculating...

It was just two kilometer from my home but I was not at home , I received many calls because my home is just near to landing line of Pindi airport . It was very sad . There was no big voice due to bad weather .

The crash site is just a few minutes drive from my home. It's still raining, it was too harsh and scary at the time of crash. Pitch dark at the time of Maghrib.
So many sad news one after another.
O Allah, please have mercy on us as a nation. Forgive our sins. Aameen.

this was the first flight of the airline from karachi to islamabad after restarting their operations.
I can't believe this. har koi uth ke airlines business chalana shuru kar deta hai :s I heard that the plane was not in a satisfactory condition
