We are with all Pakistani at this time of crisis.I hope aftet this tumoil pakistan emerges as more stronger, more democratic, more tolerant and terrorist free.
This is testing time but I guess this birth pain of something good in Pakistan. Rang laati hai Hena path-thar pe ghis jaane ke baad.
its really sad how Geo is showing the old clips of BB and then her coffin - the background music is a killer.
Really, for how long we will do this? for how long we all cry n mourn for all the leaders whether dead or living? Are we going to learn anything from it or like always after few weeks of mourn get back to square one as we used to be?
What else do you expect GEO or any other channel to do? It would be a shame if they won't give a full coverage these couple days.
And it is not just GEO, maybe switch to CNN, FOX News, BBC, and other international channels. They all are covering her since the incident took place.
yep it was really sad the way Benazirs coffin was shown on geo and ary
on sky news they were saying that Benazir had soo many enemies and it only took one to take her life...
sky news, bbc, cnn fox news, euro news are all covering the incident

JEDDAH: King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia condemned the assassination on Thursday of Pakistani opposition leader Benazir Bhutto and said he was confident that Pakistanis would "be patient after this calamity".
"With deep sadness and sorrow, we have learnt of the martyrdom of sister Benazir Bhutto at the hand of betrayal," the king, a key Gulf ally of Pakistan, said in a telegram to President Pervez Musharraf.
"We express our condemnation and the Saudi people's condemnation of this repulsive crime committed by evil killers who have drifted away from Islam, values and morals," said the telegram quoted by the official SPA news agency.
"We are confident that the brotherly Muslim people of Pakistan will be patient after this calamity ... and will not allow anybody to affect the unity, security and stability of Pakistan."
Bhutto, a two-time former prime minister of Pakistan, was assassinated during a political rally in the northern city of Rawalpindi after she had addressed supporters.
Her assassin shot her in the neck before blowing himself up, killing at least 20 people and wounding more than 50.
Naheed Khan is safe, she lives close by and her family informed the neighbourhood that shes safe, and the blood on her clothes was actually Benazir's and not hers. Sherry Rehman I believe has broken legs.
Sad to see PakistaniDragon celebrating the death of Benazir. No matter how much y ou disagree with anyone's politics, death is a not a solution to anything. Why am I not surprised to see Qurani Aya's in your signature!
Many questions are echoing in my mind all the time...
WHO ARE these filthy terrorists?
Who is this little dog walking on two legs called Mehsud, who is so hell bound on destroying Pakistan, defaming Islam and killing anyone and everyone who is not ready to accept his version of "sharia"?
If these guys are hiding in the mountains and are going to blow themselves up anyway, why doesnt the govt. help them once and for all?
What good are all those chemical weapons for, if they can not be used against these few thousand terrorists to save the millions of lives in Pak and worldwide?
I say time to rise up as a nation and show courage against these savages!
This is one of the most painful and tragic days in the history of Pakistan, just like when her father Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was also murdered 28 years ago.
Benazir Bhutto was the most charismatic, intelligent, politically astute, and genuinely popular leader in the Pakistani political arena. No other political leader can even come close to matching her brilliance of mind and determined spirit, and she has left a gaping hole that no others can fill.
Her traumatic death is a loss for Pakistan as a whole, whether we agreed with some of her politics or not, because it has robbed our nation of a true leader, who provided inspiration to tens of millions. It’s something we should all mourn with our hearts, and remember her fondly and with respect. Remember her good points and achievements.
This is the most difficult time for her three children and family, whom we should all think about and pray for as well. Of course there will be a reaction from her supporters, which is natural, but this is the time we as Pakistani’s must start to come together and finally unite. Otherwise the conspirators and terrorists will win.
It’s time our leaders showed real leadership, and bring people together. It’s Pakistan that comes first not politics or power.

bhot hi afsos hua aap k remarks parh kar. wo bhutto famliy jiska koi fard b apni natural death mein nahi mara us k baray mein aap aesi baatein kar rahay ho.this is poetry forum and not a political forum therefore im not gonna argue any furthure. behtar yehi hoga k apnay khayalaat apnay pass rakhein. or agar khayalaat ka izhar karna hi hai to "general" mein kar saktay hein.
After reading 14 pages of posts ... SubhanAllah we are all feeling something ... mostly rage, also confusion and despair.
How mature can we be with such a great loss ... and that loss is not the one of the late Benazir Bhutto. May she receive the Mercy of Allah (SWT) but her passing was no surprise. To those who are surprised were perhaps sleeping morally and intellectually before this event.
After watching the news how many of us are going to switch over to watch Junoon or some Indian TV drama on Star Plus? How many of us are watching the news on stolen electricity? How many of watched hundreds of people die without uttering a word of displeasure and how many of us cause more damage in our rage?
There is only one solution and that begins with 'calming down'
This is a time for mourning it has been since we lost our sense of morals and it remains so today when we lost a leader of a political party.
