It should, but sadly, whats happening is what people had warned Mush against a long time ago...
He will need the liberals and the secular and educated groups to support him, instead he went after them with a vengeance... So now, he stands alone, to the detrment of the entire country.
Its already obvious as the PPP and other parties are blaming Mush for this mess...
People are depoliticized and helpless.. There is a great deal of helplisness in Pak, due to lack of democracy and representative govt, people simply pray for others to deliver them...
Its not brainwashing, it just the widely held view that they cant make any difference.
