The answer to your question will lie in your own signature. The Allah I know of is merciful. I am not pro-benazir or any other politician for that matter but as far as I know, Allah is Al-Mighty and Merciful towards his servants and He forgives those whom He wishes and punishes those whom He wishes. She is no more and I don't want to indulge in ill-talk of the dead nor would I encourage others. Allah knows best what will happen to her and Allah knows best what will happen to us.

I cannot speak for everyone in this thread but I can do so for myself. I am not or was not pro-benzir (or any of the current leaders) but don't forget that Allah is Merciful. He forgives whom He wills and punishes those whom He wills. With that, To Allah we belong and to Allah, we shall return. :)

After reading 14 pages of posts ... SubhanAllah we are all feeling something ... mostly rage, also confusion and despair.
How mature can we be with such a great loss ... and that loss is not the one of the late Benazir Bhutto. May she receive the Mercy of Allah (SWT) but her passing was no surprise. To those who are surprised were perhaps sleeping morally and intellectually before this event.
After watching the news how many of us are going to switch over to watch Junoon or some Indian TV drama on Star Plus? How many of us are watching the news on stolen electricity? How many of watched hundreds of people die without uttering a word of displeasure and how many of us cause more damage in our rage?
There is only one solution and that begins with 'calming down'
This is a time for mourning it has been since we lost our sense of morals and it remains so today when we lost a leader of a political party.

This is one of the most painful and tragic days in the history of Pakistan, just like when her father Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was also murdered 28 years ago.
Benazir Bhutto was the most charismatic, intelligent, politically astute, and genuinely popular leader in the Pakistani political arena. No other political leader can even come close to matching her brilliance of mind and determined spirit, and she has left a gaping hole that no others can fill.
This is the most difficult time for her three children and family, whom we should all think about and pray for as well. Of course there will be a reaction from her supporters, which is natural, but this is the time we as Pakistani’s must start to come together and finally unite. Otherwise the conspirators and terrorists will win.
It’s time our leaders showed real leadership, and bring people together. It’s Pakistan that comes first not politics or power.

Sirkar,,, please calm down. I aint PPP or BB fan my self, but a leader is not suppose to go like this. No matter what she or her husband has done, it needs to be trialed before going into conclusions.. I guess you know the Islamic law of justice as well, so far none of the QAZI/JUDGE has announced her death sentence so no mayee kaa lal should have dared to kill her that way...
Please try to bring peace into the community and refrain from your radicalist ( rather ridiculous) comments.
I am trying to make ppl think as well that it aint necessary that Jihaids might have done it, but it could be any one who wants to see Pakistan and Muslim de-stablized, it could be foriegn agencies, govts or even KHALISTAN Movement Sikhs ( specially after BBs recent comments on khalistan movement.)
