Jammu: A girl in Jammu’s Rajouri district has given women the strength to stand up against attacks by terrorists.

Young Ruksana Kausar proudly shows off the AK-47 which saved her from six terrorists who attacked her.

The brave girl snatched the assault rifle from one of the terrorists, shot one to death, injured another and send the others running for their lives.

It helped that Ruksana was trained by the village defence committee how to fire a Kalashnikov assault rifle.

“I pushed a terrorist into the wall. I hit him with the butt of the gun and then fired several times,” says Ruksana.

The six suspected Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorists had barged into her home on Sunday evening asking her family to hand her over.

When her parents refused they were beaten up. Then her brother attacked the terrorists with an axe and Ruksana went for a terrorist’s gun.

The police got to know of it only after the fight was over.

“These people handed us the weapons and informed us about the encounter,” says Shabbir Choudhary, SP, Rajouri.

Ruksana’s family now fear retaliatory attacks from the terrorists and has asked the local police and the Army to protect them.

i think those ppl are "Tout of Indain army" ........... coz lasker taiba as indian govt said is trained by ISI.

pak army trained are not incompetent to lose their weapon to a skinny gal and a man wid axe.

by the way perhaps they left their CNIC on the scene to make indian aware that they are pakistani .............

this whole story is seems a drama and very difficult to swallow. were the so called terrorist were handicapped when the gal snatched the weapon.

i think it is the continition of mumbai terrorist attack drama.

just to create some ghairat in 6 lac indian armymen deployed in kashmir..... tum bhi kuch kar lu.......... lols

Wow.. Mumbai Police and Indian security forces should take lessons from this girl.. she killed one, injured one and make other four run away... had she been in Mumbai, many lives could have been saved...

Firstly, the title is completely misleading.

I'm surprised the *mods **haven't changed the title, since the article makes no mention of 'Pakistani' terrorists and secondly, the individuals were said to be *"suspected" **Lashkar-e-Taiba militants, nothing is confirmed, so where this whole nonsense of 'Pak terrorists' comes in is beyond me.

Secondly, the individuals fighting against the brutal Indian occupation of Kashmir are not terrorists - they are freedom fighters. The cowards who barge into people's homes and demand their women are the Indian Army, which seriously makes me suspect that these 'militants' were actually "brave" Jawaans of the "Bhartiya Thalsena".

If acts like this were widespread, there would be a mass uprising against the militants which is not seen. In fact, these fighters move through the population with relative ease - just today, 3 Indian occupiers were killed.

Thirdly, this is a Pakistani forum. If Indians want to come here and engage on a social aspect that is different, but it is absolutely ridiculous that the lies and abuse they propound about Pakistan are not checked. In other Pakistani forums, such lies and propoganda against Pakistan would never be tolerated.
