Could you please share some boy’s name with meanings? :slight_smile:

  • Ayman meaning lucky, blessed, right-hand, right e.g. Umm Ayman.
  • Ayn meaning source, spring
  • Ayat meaning sign, revelation, verse of the Qu’ran.
  • Azmi (Azmiyy) meaning one who fulfils his promise.
  • Fazl meaning favour, grace, kindness, present, gift, bounty.
  • Iyad meaning support, might, strength.
  • Omar meaning properous, full of life, large, substantial.
  • Uzayr (Not sure of the meaning of this name.)

Does anyone know where the name Ayaan originates from and what it means?

If I have a son I want to name him Miraz, insha'allah, but I haven't been able to find a reliable source telling the meaning of this name. Does anyone know?

Miraz is a nice name. :)

One of my nephews is called this, but it's spelled as "Uzair".. i think it's arabic, meaning helpful. "Ezra" in Biblical terms is the equivalent.

Izyan is very different! Okay now how would pronouced Izyan? Is it eye-zyaan or* iz-yaan*? E.g. my daughters name Isa is pronouced eye-sa.
