Boys are closer to mom and girls closer to dad

Not a statement but my opinion before half of you start bashing me with your comments.

My two brothers and I are very close to our mom where as to we’re “COOL” with dad. Is that normal and typical of all boys? It’s as if we’re made to protect her and keep her happy and make sure nothing gets in her way. I’ve got some girl cuzos who are very close to there mom and dad which makes it hard for me to judge if it’s true that they’re closer to the father.

Any one with me on this?

We are close to our mom but tend to keep a distant from dad, I don't know why, but we are kind of scared of him.

Same here...
I think it's because we spent our childhood with mom and grew up with her by our sides...dad had been away all our childhood..and now, eventhough we have been living together for more than a decade.....our relationship still isn't as it should be...

girls and boys both are close to moms..and with dad it depends on the dad..usually men dont like to show their affection and love..and would like to keep a little distance

I’m closer with my Dad. My mom is always yelling at me and smacking my bum. :bummer:

i think so too.but not always true.
i was more close 2 my dad.but all my kids r more free with my husband coz i'm really strict with them while he just fools around n acts as a kid with them mostly.

Most desi mom love boys and desi dad love girls and also boys love mom and girls love dad.

Moslty mom use to yell and mar pitai but dad remain in distant.

I and my dad use to love each other than mom. Mom and brother use to love each other.

Abbu ka khauf bhi tha fasla bhi tha aur pyar aur hasi mazaq bhi chalta tha.

Ammi ka bhi khauf bhi tha per utna naheen jitna abbu ka un say bhi hansi mazaq bhi chalta tha per abbu ki nisbat ziada.

being close to both parents is a wonderful thing to have. even though at times, we are all relatively more open to our moms.

I agree, we are brothers only and all are closer to Mom.
