My older one who is going to be 7 in nov, is still in Sprout and Goodnight Show on PBS Kids, I will never let her watch that stupid Hanna Montana thingie. Another girl of my extended family of exactly my daughter's age is in that stupid show from last 2 years. Last time I saw her, she was pretending to be Hanna and dancing and gyrating her pelvic and throwing her hair forward by jerking her head and it was just too schocking.
I sometimes share your wish that my daughter stays a kid. I know its not a healthy wish, I know.
That's just shocking and sad. Now what if someone comes along and tell you to let your kid watch that show because this is what a modern kid supposed to watch, what would you say in your answer?
