boycotting these beauty brands

Re: boycotting these beauty brands

If it is, then?
i don’t know if it is but just mentioned it.

Re: boycotting these beauty brands

Are all of the heads of those companies and the subsequent sub-companies funding money to Israel/Israeli army? Or is just the president of the company? How much of the money goes to Israel? What if you know people who work for these companies should they leave their jobs? That's a lot of companies.

A companie called Aussie?

Re: boycotting these beauty brands

just buy all desi products and natural makeup desi style. Then you'll be fine.

Re: boycotting these beauty brands

True. Really Obama should think more about this. What's the point of money going abroad and attacking places like Libya. It's really just for oil i think.
Do you think people outside US should boycott US and American companies? Do you feel in a way Canada is a better country lifestyle and ethically? No offence to anyone. I personally believe NZ is better ethically than Australia but no jobs there and Australians generally like Americans.

Re: boycotting these beauty brands

Wow that's committment. I admire that. Most people here attended protests.
Out of curiosity have you ever been tempted to boycott Indian products/other subcontinental products due to events or funding issues?
Also on some of the Israel/Gaza threads in Pakistani forum ive noticed some people mention yahoodi/hanoodi etc I don't get the connection. I think yahudi means zionists/israelis but the hanudi word i can't tell if it refers to a specific group or is general. Google is not much help either. do you know the specific meaning and the connection? Is it also another Jewish tribe? According to the person who mentioned it all born and raised pakistanis know the meaning so i want to know the exact meaning as well :(

In any case i'm happy both Pakistan and India voted on side of Palestinians in UN while many european countries, US and allies like Japan abstained/voted against.

Re: boycotting these beauty brands

i will be a more intelligent muslim consumer and not allow my money to go to fund murderers.....will try and boycott everything i can

Re: boycotting these beauty brands

According to Buycott, these brands above are conflict free...can you provide the connection behind avoiding these products?

Re: boycotting these beauty brands

Hope the Boycott has effect

Re: boycotting these beauty brands

There should be more Muslim-owned beauty brands out there imo.. Some of those are really good quality products..

Makes me wonder why all those rich Arabs don't design and market more of their own stuff for a bit of healthy competition..

Re: boycotting these beauty brands

I think Pakistanis or Bangladeshis should lead the way Deeba.

Re: boycotting these beauty brands

I should have clarified that the list didn't specify which products to boycott, just which which brands are under which company.

Re: boycotting these beauty brands

Estee Lauder is one to avoid definitely. Their owner is a staunch Zionist and funds many Israeli initiatives. I don't know about L'oreal though, I don't think they had an Israeli funding connection the last time I checked.

Re: boycotting these beauty brands

Nah, the foundations would only come in light/white shades :D

Re: boycotting these beauty brands

^oh the irony, lol.

Re: boycotting these beauty brands

That would cater to quite a big population. Between Pakistanis and Bangladeshis a wide colour range will be covered :)

Re: boycotting these beauty brands

in what way

Re: boycotting these beauty brands

I think more like porcelain to ivory :@:

Re: boycotting these beauty brands

I have faith together both of you can get to the tan colour. The tanner the better. A bit of colour is good for everyone. The porcelain and ivory colours kind of blend in in that picture. Hard to tell difference bwteen both.
don’t forget the sanwali saloni song

Re: boycotting these beauty brands

Estee lauder wasnt doing well to begin with!

It's quite hard to bycott all these brands because literally everything comes under these. But its def something we should do and more power to those who are able to do it!

Re: boycotting these beauty brands
