The Indian Government did not give permission to their cricket team to tour Pakistan. This was not done because of India/Pakistan security issues but the main purpose is to hurt an already devastated Pakistan’s economy. India has started to give export subsidies to goods which compete with Pakistani exported goods.
I would like to request Pakistanis specially those living abroad to boycott Indian movies (not watch in cinemas). This might be a small hit to a big Indian economy but I think it might be satisfying for patriotic Pakistanis that at least they did something and not just lament about the situation.
Definitely. Bollywood is really the gutter of world cinema, its amazing how dumb Pakistanis patronize it. But then, these are the same people who love Geo...haha

Valid point, and most of the films are so unreal and cheesy that no self-respecting individual should be able to sit through them, let alone enjoy them.
And now we've said that, watch how this thread fills with Indians and our own folks who enjoy the crap, giving you examples of how artistic and creative (!) their films are...here they come...

But how are most of us even helping? Most movie rentals are pirated. Songs are downloaded from the internet, and I have doubts about the movie theaters too.
^^What do you really know? Do you even know the amount of ppl who go watch this b'wood thrash in cinemas??? I mean one ticket cost something like £6-7, and work it out urself..how much we (the pakistanis) are contributing to the b'wood economy or should i say indian economy?
Bollywood provides livelihood for some pakistanis and entertainment for many. It is just not possible to boycott bollywood movies....According to Google, top searches for hindi movies/actors is generated from Pakistan.....boycott will never work. It just just like asking Desi ppl to boycott cricket....which will never happen in million years.
I dont know about anyone else but I have tried to avoid bollywood movies or Indian channels since I've read/heard so much crap against Pakistan from indians. On one side there are good ppl as well. I, myself have so many indian friends. But still, I just dont feel like watching Indian movies anymore.
However, on the other side, my family members still watch indian channels a lot. And I think thats because they dont go through all the media propoganda against Pakistan.
For example, they do watch SaReGaMaPa at ZEE but they turn the TV off when ZEE news start. I bet if they watch Zee news for once only they will stop watching the other shows for sometime atleast. :)
I wonder how can anybody tolerate these silly bolly movies . they're always promoting anti-muslim sentiments. pakistanis should show some nationalism and stop endorsing these devils. there are some rogue elements in our society who are blinded by their live for indian trash.
