Re: Bored
You will find things to do with your significant other. if you are bored by just sitting around, thn recd. going for a walk or hitting the gym. hang out with your friends. You can always girls night out with your friends, while he is out with his. My hubby and his friends meet up every friday (try to...) and that use to be my relaxing time...and now has become hanging out with the LO time :)

This! I have never been bored with my husband. We have been together for ten years, married for almost four. We are like best buddies.

Mmmm...I disagree a little. I've been married almost 16 years, also married my best friend and I'll be honest and say that around year 12 it did start to feel stagnant/boring/mundane. When the kids and their schedules/needs start to take precedence it's easy to lose yourself as a couple. That's why I'm such a big advocate of husband & wife alone time. Marriages go through their phases, and yes some of those phases can be boring, but it's normal and healthy, as long as both know how or get back on track and bring the fun back.
Re: Bored

Re: Bored
^It’s quite funny that my mum says that too. She, jokingly, says that the best way to avoid boredom in marriage is to marry someone who is completely nuts, which luckily most guys are. ![]()
Re: Bored
Right now when I think about it I don’t think I’d ever be bored. ![]()

So true I wish this was more common in us desis, people start to think oh my god how can we go out alone with our husbands if the kids are left at home. Newsflash you two have a relationship as well it isn't all about the kids. I do think that this is starting to change now, especially with the newer generation.
