That's one advantage of having multiple personalities, you don't get bored and others don't get bored with you.
PCG, if it's the right person and you have solid communication and make time for each other, you will not get bored. Grow together.. That is the key.

Re: Bored
Are you saying I have multiple personalities?
What if you're getting bored though? Does it mean you have to split up?
Re: Bored
That thread will be a blast. I'm getting really bored should I leave my husband?
Re: Bored
Getting "bored" does not equate leaving your spouse. There can be many thigs that contribute to "boredom"....monatony in schedules, priorities shifting elsewhere (like kids) etc...I can only speak for myself here, and nowhere was I insinuating that one should leave their spouse. It's no different from what they call the "seven year itch" or what some refer to as a "midlife crisis". When a couple gets comfortable with their routine and set in there ways, there's nothing wrong with wanting to bring excitement back into the relationship. Date nights, a trip away together, taking up a new hobby together....all ways to snap out of the doldrums that inevitably creep in to any relationship
Re: Bored
^ I can so relate.
Re: Bored
I think people get bored being with their best friends too...if you're doing something repeatedly and its getting monotonous...you're just getting bored with the routine. *Not with your spouse.
So...I'd say time with friends, alone, mixing things up with your spouse even, etc...its all a part of life and should help the boredom quite a bit.

Maybe, maybe not.
will depend on people, the severity of boredom, its root causes and efforts of both to sort it out.

Re: Bored
Boredom occur with the routine life and not necessarily with the person. you get bored with the day to day life even when it involves your parents/siblings. so basically it not the boredom with your spouse but boredom with the routine life/activities be it your home or work.
apart from the regular mundane chores, even if you are doing some fun activity with the same person again and again, you will get bored with that too. the key here is to keep on adding the frills to the basic things you do regularly and do some totally different activity with your partner every once in a while.
