Bomb blasts in Delhi/Australia on Track to tour India

There are question marks all around, not just because CT was postponed/canceled and Australia rejecting the notion of human life element for India series but because of the fact that it has set a preceding that greatly involves negative consequences for the future of Pakistan cricket, which is a whole another discussion for another time, but some of it lies in lieu of World Cup in Asia in 2011.

Re: Bomb blasts in Delhi/Australia on Track to tour India

This is an offending thread. Australians in the past have been quite comfortable touring Pakistan and playing on 'dead wickets' with less incentives.

I'm extremly upset with this thread openner as we all Pakistanis are going through a traumatic situation and in such cases you are dragging all good indians/pakistanis into your 'stupid ego thread' How trivial can you get ?

Re: Bomb blasts in Delhi/Australia on Track to tour India

^^when was the last time australian team visited Pakistan :konfused:

This - “Young said the security will be upgraded for the team as well as for the A side, currently touring in India.“We will have security in place around the senior team, which is what we always were going to have. In consultation with the BCCI, we have upgraded security in and around the dressing rooms and they will have an escort to the ground.” Australia’s A-team players, currently on a tour of India, have also been told not to leave the hotel without good reason. “It’s just a matter of prudence,” he said.”
Could CA not have implemented their own security besides the assurance of state-level security from PCB? What stopped them from telling their players not to leave the hotel without good reason, were Pakistan’s playing conditions that worse? As bad as the situation was in Pakistan, the Australian squad will leave on Sunday as “cricket is their first priority”. “In very broad terms the advice we have is in sharp contrast to what we had for Pakistan, which was that it was not safe to travel [in Pakistan] because the attacks there were targeting westerners,” Young said. “The problems [in India] are completely different in intensity and of a different nature.”
Yes, because attacks on westerners is a far greater crime than attack on the locals because the value of a human life is measured in ethnicities and skin color now.

Re: Bomb blasts in Delhi/Australia on Track to tour India

Put up a multi million $$$ useless 20/20 League and see how safe is Pakistan for Cricket :disgust:

Sad but true … money rules :disgust:

My worst fears have come true. These attacks may not have anything to do with Cricket but make no mistake about who is behind it.

Time to toss all this India Pakistan bhai-bhai stuff out of the window. Send all Bangladeshis/Pakistanis home....yes including the Lahore Badshahs. We are helping Pakistanis make a living when all they want is to kill us. India is the only civilized and developing country remaining in South Asia and it should not be allowed to be pulled down by its basket-case neighbors.

As you can see I am more than pissed.

Meanwhile, Times Of India reporting - the terrorists took off from the Karachi Port and hijacked an Indian fishing boat in the high seas to reach the Gateway of India (just beside the Taj Hotel , Mumbai) .

Update - Indian Army says one terrorist arrested from the Oberoi is from Faridkot in Pakistan.

Re: Bomb blasts in Delhi/Australia on Track to tour India

cool so they (Indian intelligence that is) knew nothing about it but have all the plot in hand in 12 hours .... and best of all is that terrorist trusted with the most important part of their plot (travel from Karachi to Bombay) with the abduction of Indian boat!

Please do so quickly so we can drop nukes with ease.

Please destroy Faridkot

Is that so far fetched ? There are so many petty Indian fishermen in the Arabian Sea at any given time.

I am too pissed, angry and hurt to elaborate.

Were you similarly pissed, angry and hurt when you learnt that it was work of an Indian army-man involved in train blast not too long ago?

Re: Bomb blasts in Delhi/Australia on Track to tour India

I thought I detected a sense of rejoice among Pakistanis.....but going by ehtasab's comments above.....they are actually in distributing-mithais mode.

The irony is that even though this attack was against India, it will ultimately be Pakistan which will pay heavily for this. I don't mean India will attack Pakistan or anything like that......but that the goodwill that Pakistanis had started to enjoy among Indians will vanish.....and Pakistan will be totally isolated with its problems.

First up, India's tour of Pakistan ----- CANCELLED though this is not official yet.

You are right. First when you came up with those conspiracy theories i felt you were going overboard. But having seen some of these idiotic guppies behave, I lost all sympathy for Pakistan. The nation has lost all self respect and hardly any humanity left. If Pakistani people are indeed behind this then they should pay heavily. Hope IMF withdraw its loan and let them suffer for some time till their hatred reduces.

Going by your sanity these days I will now believe that you actually 'believe' that I could be distributing mithai. I am not here to please anyone or get a certificate of my 'human-ness' or how much pain I feel at someone's loss of life or agony. I am not here to prove to you that I care about any human being so its better for you save any little tiny winy dignity and disappear till few days (hopefully things will be settled by then). Sorry if I burst any little bubble in you.

I do hope that India's tour of Pakistan gets cancelled now seeing how once considered 'sane' guppies behave and start blaming Pakistan for every thing that happens in India. I do with that Pakistan cuts ties with India if India tries to blame Pakistan without completing investigation.

I can already see how much 'sympathy' you actually had, we never needed crocodile tears.

So only you have all the rights of declaring who is innocent, who is guilty, only you can detect sense of rejoice, you can also see over the internet how one is feeling, I am amazed at such powers.

First of all it was all 2 way traffic. Indians were enjoying goodwill too. Roaming on the streets of Karachi and Lahore and flying Indian flags in Khi and Lahore stadium was unprecedented. Now one could have thought that this can be done and after that of course Indians reponded by "allowing" Pakistanis to hold Pakistani flag high in Indian grounds.

As far as Indian Tour is concerned, I was already in favor of canceling that anyway. The way Indian media was hyping it (aka: ager Tendulkar ko kharash bhee aayee tu....), it would have better been canceled anyway.

And lastly, I was taken by how easily and quickly Singh (Indian PM) and other top politicians blamed it on Pakistan even before the fire was extinguished and even before we saw a glimpse of any terrorists but now I am not amazed, Of course politicians have to keep their voters happy. They will speak whatever their voters like to hear and speak themselves and we now know what they want to hear !

Re: Bomb blasts in Delhi/Australia on Track to tour India

this is most probably an inside job by the indians themselves. they have like dime a dozen separation movements going on in india, not to mention the oppression by the indian army in kashmir. so there are more than capable groups in india who can carry out such organized attacks. instead of pointing fingers, for once indian media/government should bring forward some credible evidence of pakistan's involvement.

First of all I refuse to believe that few guppies here have behaved in an insensitive manner during this tragedy. And if there are some jerks around here, does that mean that you blame the whole country? My friend believe me, attitude like yours is a bigger problem than terrorism.

Deplorable carnage...

The fanatics have shown that they can strike anytime anywhere. They don't care who they kill, where they kill or how many they kill.

Once again the finger of blame will be pointed towards Pakistan (and I dare say not without good reason) not because the government or people of Pakistan are involved or support such atrocities (I sincerely hope not) but because extremist elements residing within or originating from Pakistani Kashmir (lashkar-tayyiba....naam to aise rakhte hain jaise inn se bara momin or pious person aaj tak paida hee nahin hua, naam itna paak aur aamaal itne buray) are deemed to be behind this latest atrocity
