Can someone please gather some Bharati officials blaming ISI for these blasts? Because it is obvious that people who were blaming ISI or Pakistan were just conspiracy theorists. And seems like Bharat has a lot of such people.
NEW DELHI: India has a new and grave reason to worry, warn some of country’s most authoritative voices in domestic security as they talk of an unprecedented and alarming trend visible in recent terrorist attacks. The trend of locals taking to terrorism, they believe, is a major challenge for the future of secular India.
India always took pride in the fact that Indian Muslims, outside Kashmir, never took to terrorism. In attacks like 9/11 in the US, bombings in Madrid, London and elsewhere, there were no Indian connections. Even in Kashmir there has hardly been any Muslim from rest of India fighting for militant groups all these years.
But all that is now slowly changing as the fresh wave of terrorist attacks show off the growing new face of terrorism in India. “It is alarming, we need to worry,” a senior security officer, who has been in the forefront of India’s fight against terrorism, told DNA.
The old formula of jehadis from Pakistan and Kashmir coming into India and carrying out attacks is no more the story, according to highly dependable sources. The investigators are not yet sure of what the definite pattern of this new terrorism is. But by now they have a grip of what is happening in the hinterland of India.
As of now there is no indication that the terrorist groups, Lashkar-e-Toiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed among others, have created such local networks across India capable of carrying out multiple blasts in multiple locations.
I say give those Bharati muslims a kick in the back and a hard lesson in ‘banday mataram’.
