Bollywood and Faith

Re: Bollywood and Faith

Not that I am fan of these songs or anything but for people who are highly critical of these songs or use of these terms (which are more analogical than anything else), would they mind, to same degree the use of sentences like "qibla **mairee baat tu sunya" or "khuda k leyee** pani la doo"

Most of the times these terms (such as kamla wohi or tujh main rab Rab dikhta hai etc) are used to portray the emotions/importance/love. In a way, muslims should feel proud that whenever people have to show degree of importance, there is no better way to portray it than equating it to kamla or rub for muslims :)

Its just another step ahead in the historical equating of mehboob with "chaand" and/or "phool". Now many can mind this also saying that "how can someone be like chand, chand to Allah nai banaya hai". There really is no limit to it.

Re: Bollywood and Faith

Because they are living in India.Poeple's liberties within the constitution are granted here. :)

This is why Mr.Salman does Ganesh pooja every year and gives a deaf ear to some radical scholors fatwas.

Re: Bollywood and Faith

Love the fact that so many "moderate" Pakistanis are getting their panties in a twist just because of the use of Islamic terms in some love songs. And I thought Islam doesn't preach hatred.. :(
