I am still having it done. I have had 4 sessions and got 2 left. In my opinion, the hair is hardly visible now. On the top of the lip, there is no hair (fingers x’d) and around the lips, there is ver very slight regrowth!

Only serious replies though. Someone has tried to ask this question before but no answers...It's an embarassing topic, so I don't blame anyone, but it's good to be clear...What do you mean by whole body wax? Arms, legs, stomach, bikini (ouch), lower back, and face? Anything else? And waxing of "whole" regions (if you know what i mean...)? Just curious to see what you guys mean and what expectations are....
Have been to lots of places and waxing hurts but you get used to it...some areas are worse than others (surprise, surprise...).

i don't wax coz it doesn't suit my skin...i always get BAD swelling even after 4-5 days...zakham ban jata hai..:(

meh, **i don’t think i can ever feel comfortable with someone waxing my whole body…kinda awkward ** how much does it cost?? if u get ur whole body done that is??

same here, me not at all comfortable either…
i have a question too, do all grls get their full-body waxed before wedding or its ur personal choice.

well yeah I have experience with epilating and waxing is definately better, because of epilation there is often ingrowth of hair, with causes iritation and pigmentation....

how do u get rid of this type of pigmentation???? anyone know?????????

Laser all the way man! I only had a few sessions on my underarms and it completely disappeared. Nothing came back-its great! Just go to some1 who knows what the hell they're talking abt.

i love love love waxing and the results it produces. The downside is waiting until the regrowth is longer usually 4-6 weeks for me to be removed again. I can even do the underarms myself.

Amani, i got laser hair removal done for my face and although i loved the results, unfortunately it only lasted until i got pregnant and the surge in hormones brought the hair back. Fortunately, its not as bad it used to be before.

Sorry for replying after such a long time chorni. The hair does come back very thin and not noticeable at all. The growth is slow that you wouldnt beleive it. I would def recommend laser hair removal. I am actually going to a clinic where they are holding a 50% off their prices.

waxin is done coz i guess ALL men want no hair on their wives body.. :p .. before wedding ye zarori ho jata hai lolz.. well it does not stop hair growth but definitly makes ur hairs thin.. n less regrowth..

i’ve heard of sooooooooo many girls getting their whole body waxed before their wedding and i just have one question.

are you guys insane??? when we wax our legs and arms we gotta keep waxing them a billions of times every 3-4 weeks or so. but your whole body??? I asked a friend and she said they said in pakistan that the hair doesn’t come back or if it does it’s not that much, is that true??

the weather is different there - so im assuming because they dont really need hair unlike canada where ur hiar is what gives u warmth…there hair doesnt grow as fast and thick perhaps?

also because most of the girls in pak arent really allowde (as far as i know) until there wedding to touch there hair, as in getting it waxed or shaving it. So the outcome would be different u know?

After reading this thread, I called up a laser removal place nearby out of curiosity and she said it is a $100 for face PER treatment. So I asked her how many a person normally needs and she said 5 - 9!!!

waxing is such a killer but unfortuantely there is no proper replacement for it....i m all against laser :(...creams take 2 much effort...waxing causes 2 much pain...lol!
