I wanted advice from you all.
I have been hearing alot about Bobbi Brown cosmetics, how it’s good and all. And finally I am planning to purchase their Foundations and Blushes.
Since the makeup is expensive I wanted to know, is it worth spending so much money on this brand? Is it good? Did you have any bad experainces? Good experiances?
I have been trying to fina a good, natural looking foundation for a long time, currently I am using Maybeline, and it’s alright. I tried MAC but I didnt like it at all sooo I am finally going to try Bobbi Brown’s but please stop me if I am making a mistake!
I hd some bad experience with bobbi brown foundation,i look very dark with BB foundation on...... choose the colour carefully and never listen to sales person's crap ..pheww!!
why would you restrict yourself to one brand? you should look around and try different products.
personally, i don't know anyone who uses BB foundation yet it's been tried out by everyone. the only BB product that is truly popular is the Shimmer Brick.
i would go around the makeup counters (not all on the same day) and try as many foundations as you can. I did the same for blush as I was looking for a really particular shade. Otherwise Nars is really pigmented and has some natural shades. MAC has so many blushes and in various finishes, I'm surprised you didn't find one you liked there.
I agree with Stoppit - shop around with different brands. Don't ever be loyal to one brand!
Also agree with Stoppit that one of Bobbi Browns best products (in my opinion) is the shimmer brick. I have this and it can be used for a number of things. It's a great product to have in your make up bag.
Try getting samples of foundation and trying them out on your skin - there are different types for various skin types, skin shades, coverage required etc so there is quite a lot to consider!
I agree with all of you, BB foundation is not very good for desi type skin, I went to couple of their makeovers, when they had really good makeup artists from NY wagerah, I looked like hell, the foundation made me look like I am sick both times, their best product that I have used so far is the lip losses, they have really pigmented and good natural shades. Shimmer brick was really good on one of my friends who had very fair skin, didn't suit me.
Good luck, but I would suggest the same thing, shop around and find a good brand before committing to buy one, I would go to sephora(if there is one around you).
I recently bought makeup forever's HD foundation. I like it so far. I have yet to wear it at night time. Bascially i look for two things in a foundation. Natural looking and my pics should turn out good. You should try that. Just try few different. Make sure there is good lighting where you try your foundation.
I agree with Spiral, foundation should look good in all lighting and flash photography. One thing I always do is take pics of myself in daylight and indoors with the flash.
I am a huge fan of Bobbi Brown foundation as well as MUFE HD foundation. We all have different skin compositions, undertones and textures.. u must try on a few brands and be comfortable with it.
Yay! Another BB fan.. Sani depends on the coverage u need. For medium coverage use their fluid foundation, for heavier covergae use their foundation stick..for light coverage their tinted balm.
